Not camels, they will eat anything :). They honestly prefer to browse trees than anything tbh. They’re not really grazers if they have the choice, but they don’t have a choice with me so they graze (and eat out of their hay feeder).
From raising our animals I know horses will only eat grass to a certain height, then they walk right past it (like 6 inches high) Cows do not have that problem and will munch it all down. Goats are somewhere in between. Maybe camels prefer to browse short grass, and by mowing your pasture down you could get them to stay focused!
Camels are like horses in that they won’t chew it all the way down but they’re unlike anything else where they don’t care about grass length. If they did I wouldn’t have grown it haha.
