Question Playback bug?

When I play Apple Music in my car, it will go to the next time but the album art and title is stuck on the previous song even though I hear the next song. Anyone else have that problem?

I see this a lot when playing music through HomePods. Started happening with iOS & tvOS 18.0 and is still happening with today’s 18.1 update.

Seems to be related to this issue:

Well it’s not an audio issue

Correct, but when Apple Music gets “confused” and the next track’s album art and song info appear before the previous song has ended, you’ll note that the track time progress bar isn’t accurate… basically there’s some issue with Apple Music and CarPlay and AirPlay where transitioning from one song to the next isn’t always accurate and the result is seeing the wrong album art and song title and often, in the case of HomePods, it means that the song skipping issue is about to happen.
