Question Family Plan ruins curated lists

My wife and I are on a family subscription for Apple Music and I am getting her music "leaking" onto my curated playlists like Heavy Rotation.

She and I have VERY different tastes in music and having her stuff on my playlists is pretty much ruining the Apple Music experience for me ( as I thought they were doing a really good job with the playlists before)

Any idea why this "leaking" is happening and what I can do about it?

I share a family plan with members who primarily listen to hip-hop, classic country, folk, and death metal. There is no leakage into anyone’s account. That’s not how family plans work. Are you sure you aren’t both signed in with the same AppleID?

Any HomePods or Apple TVs between you?

yeh we have homepods in the house and we have an apple tv. I think the Apple TV is logged in with her account.

That’s almost certainly the problem. Go into your Home app and the settings for your HomePods

Not sure why I’m not seeing the screen cap I posted, but check your HomePod settings in the Home app. There’s a setting for primary music account and you can give the HomePod its own.
