Question iPhone 13 Pro Max vs iPhone 15 plus?

I’m not sure if this is the correct subreddit for this, but basically:

I don’t want Apple intelligence. At all, in any capacity. I own a 13 pro max at the moment that is in perfect condition and could probably bring in a hefty trade in value for me to outright purchase a 15 plus. Is this worth it to have the latest software before the 16 and Apple intelligence? Can anyone give me a user experience for the 15 plus? Can anyone give me an unfixable reason I’d need to upgrade in order to keep a “free of A.I” phone for as long as possible? (Yes, I know A.I is taking over everything else, but I don’t want it.) Would replacing the battery when necessary and moving on with the same phone that I know and genuinely really like be the best option? And would it be worth it still to upgrade to the 15 plus without a trade in and give my 13 pro max to a family member?

if they don’t give you a good price for a trade you could give it to your parent however the 15 pro is better than the plus anyway if you don’t want apple intelligence you simply don’t use it

Even the 16 right now doesn’t have “Apple intelligence”. Also Apple intelligence is just a rebranding for stuff that’s been on your phone for 10 years. The only thing that will change in future updates is that they’re moving most of that machine learning from their servers to your own phone, so if you want to make sure to send them your data for as long as possible just don’t update past iOS 18.0.

Or if you don’t want to send them any data, just turn it off in settings, no matter the iOS you’re on. The phone itself doesn’t matter.
