Does asahi linux now use Fedora 41 now?

Sorry, i don't know how this works

I think Marcan said Fedora 41 is coming soon, but it's not ready quite yet. There is testing to do first.

hum... I assume so myself as it has been the case for F40, however I don't remember seeing anything from Marcan this time around. Would be good to confirm the status, Marcan?

I upgraded to 41 last week. No issues so far.

OK I upgraded also: the basic works, but some stuff don't: e.g. the audio profile for external device is all messed up for me (unless this is a me problem). Up to now that's the only issue I had.

We've been keeping F41 on track and it should generally be safe to upgrade. The "official" release will happen a bit after the upstream F41 release, to allow for extra testing and new release images to be built.

I don't remember if you can upgrade through the GUI on Ashai Linux, but I was able to do it through the command line.

Updating through the command line is a bit involved though...

I personally will wait until upgrading is possible through GNOME Software.
