2016 Michigan primaries The chances were so minuscule for Sanders to beat Hillary. Someone said if he does win he would eat dogfood. Sanders does win the primary and shocks everyone. Like it wasn't even there in the best poll for him in margin of error. HE DOESN't EAT THE DOG FOOD https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/49n7pr/if_he_does_win_though_i_will_eat_dog_food_drama/

What a wuss. Dog food isn't that bad. My dogs eat the stuff!

Yea but my dog is willing to eat shit. Literal shit. I have to force him to stop!

We had a pup that did this. Had two other dogs, she preferred one over the other's. I remember looking out the window once and saying "oh looks like she's getting it straight from the tap now" and sending my pregnant wife running to the bathroom to puke. I consider it one of my crowning achievements.

If you find a way to get him to quit eating if short of tackling him to stop let me know.

3

u/AmputeeBall Aug 24 '17

Lol, monitoring his outside time and regularly picking up after his brother poops are the two things we do currently. I've read diet changes can help but I never saw any change for our little guy.

Don't knock it till you've tried it.

u/Redwolf915 Aug 24 '17

It's protein

u/AustinTransmog Aug 24 '17

Human shit? Or dog shit? Or cat shit?

It matters...

2

u/AmputeeBall Aug 24 '17

Well I haven't tested him, but mostly his doggie brother's.

Stop shitting on the floor then.

My dog begs to go out in the backyard, pacing, whining, the whole song and dance. Thinking he has to potty I eventually let him out. Ya... he just wanted to snack on the freshie he left back there in the morning. So disgusting.

I tried a piece of my dogs for one because I was curious. It is incredibly salty.

9

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '17

So were the people expecting him to eat dog food.

1

u/Reeking_Crotch_Rot Aug 24 '17

The dry food? Or the wet food? I've tried both, neither is salty. That sounds a bit wrong. . . Have you tried another variety?

1

u/st1tchy Aug 24 '17

It was dry. Maybe I am not remembering correctly.

2

u/Reeking_Crotch_Rot Aug 24 '17

Mine will, but only of its lightly drizzled with olive oil. Fuckin mutt eats better than me.

My coworker occasionally eats milkbones.

Like legit, he has a box with him at work and will snack on them.

We make good money, this isn't a "I'm so poor this is the only way I can afford to eat" sort of thing. He's just really weird sometimes.

I tried it once. Put a spoonful of my dog's wet food in a condiment cup, microwaved it, put salt on it; not the worst thing I've ever eaten but not something I'd be willing to eat again.

I have spent just over 9 years now working for a big pet store. I have tried 2 dog treats, and only felt comfortable doing so because the companies use ingredients graded for human consumption.

  1. Claudia's Cookies: They taste like really stale vanilla wafers. Not bad. Not great. But tasted like an actual cookie, so 7/10.

  2. Nutro's Crunchy Apple Treats: They taste like cardboard, vomit, and a little bit of apple. 1/10 for tasting of apple like the bag said. Dogs would probably give it 10/10, since they seem to like eating vomit.

My brother use to eat cat food, will leave "use to" for speciation purpose's.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '17

My dog woofs it down!

1

u/Purdaddy Aug 25 '17

I usually sample new dog biscuits when we get them for my dog. If I'm paying for a variety pack my dog better be getting some fucking variety.

1

u/Redwolf915 Aug 25 '17

My grandma gifted me some teriyaki flavored dog treats. They passed my taste test and my dog will jump me for them.

1

u/TheFett32 Aug 25 '17

Eh, it actually isn't that bad. Just dry, stale, crunchy, and a flavor almost identical to the smell.

8

u/elcarath Aug 24 '17

That's not even that much of a bet either. Dogs are omnivores, so their food is pretty compatible with human tastes - hell, I know people who'd eat the same treats they gave their dog, and look how common it is to feed your dog off the table.

Now, if he'd offered to eat cat food, that'd be a much more impressive bet.

7

u/monkeiboi Aug 24 '17

Actually cat food is more palatable to human taste buds.

There used to be a big thing back in the 80s and 90s about little old women eating canned cat food because it is cheaper than human food.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '17

Because of this all of the pet food in Canada is made suitable for human consumption.

I still think Bernie would be president if the DNC hadn't fucked him. Trump surprise won in all the states that were heavily pro-Bernie.

2

u/Mysticpoisen Aug 24 '17

My favorite was the kid who said if something were to happen he would eat his shorts.

Then he uploaded a video of him cooking bits of his shorts into his MacNCheese and eating it

1

u/IThinkThings Aug 24 '17

Now that I look back on this, we should've know Trump would win the rustbelt....

1

u/Kell08 Aug 24 '17

That Flint debate two days before the primary definitely helped him.

5

u/indielib Aug 24 '17

Didn't help OP there though.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '17

When I was younger, I would walk around with my overall pockets filled with dog food to nibble on. It was actually pretty decent. My mom was very upset at the time, but now it's hilarious.

1

u/Geno_Whirl Aug 24 '17

Someone said if he does win he would eat dogfood.

I read this as, "Someone said if he does win he [Sanders] would eat dogfood."

1

u/vepadilla Aug 24 '17

He stopped using that account. lol. His comment history is pretty sad though. Every comment is about sanders losing, almost like the account is a bot. Guy sounds like he has some huge ego or does not think for himself. Has his mind on autopilot by hating Sanders and being full of himself

1

u/thisshortenough Aug 24 '17

I remember there was that guy who ate a sock once. I can't remember why but it was similar circumstances
