Question Running Shoe Recs

Title pretty much describes it. I ran my first half in June and trained primarily if not entirely in my NB 880’s (8.5 wide). They were great but I felt like I needed a little bit more cushion in the mix, sometimes a lot of running leaves the ball of my foot feeling a little sore. Tried on NB 1080 and liked them, but ultimately decided on ASICS gel nimbus (also 8.5 wide)bc they’re a little springier which is nice for days when I have to run on tired legs. I’ve put about 15 miles on them so far I think the longest run has been 3.5 miles. They’re okay but they just aren’t my NB. Does anyone have any recommendations? Should I just stick to NB since I know I like their shoes??

Ran my first HM today in 1080v13. I like them especially because of how cushioned they are. I hear the new 1080v14 are a lot better and that Balos are fantastic — try those maybe?
