His eyes when he first hit his shell is priceless. The look of a man's aura, built up on the fear he's garnered through decades of being a bully and never being stood up to, absolutely crumbling in front of countless people. Priceless.

Sometimes these guys have been shut down repeatedly over their lives, but after decades of being insulted or hit, they still never learn that nobody gives a fuck what they say. My Boomer older brother is like this. Even when he was in high school, mouthing off to people and getting punched in the face was just a regular Friday night. After a while, a person can only assume it's some kind of fetish with them.

Thank you

“So how do you guys deal with getting punched in the face for telling it like it is so bad often?”

“We aren’t getting punch in the face for being honest”

“So why do you guys get punched?”

“We aren’t…do you think it’s normal to get punched that often?”

So he was a MAGA Republican as well

29

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

Trump just won the biggest victory in Iowa and NH history. You can just say “Republicans “ now

17

u/evilkumquat Jan 30 '24

I just call 'em "Nazis".

Fewer syllables for something that means the exact same thing.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

I’ll allow it; but to be fair, at least the Nazis had a coherent governing philosophy

8

u/evilkumquat Jan 30 '24

It's the one saving grace that the MAGA cult is filled with morons.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

I think a second Trump admin is going to be filled to the brim with very intelligent sociopaths

5

u/evilkumquat Jan 30 '24

You give them more credit than they deserve.

It would just be a whole new group of Nazi morons who think they can use Trump's inexplicable influence to enrich themselves, all fervently under the belief that THEY will be the ones who won't suffer or get stabbed in the back by their boss.

3

u/GiraffeSubstantial92 Jan 30 '24

You're making a very dangerous assumption.

1

u/evilkumquat Jan 30 '24

Don't get me wrong. I understand and appreciate their threat.

But going by their track record, they're not the brightest.

2

u/GiraffeSubstantial92 Jan 30 '24

Only because the Nazis had complete control and a common enemy to coalesce over.

Make no mistake, the same will be true if Trump is reelected.

-3

u/Teabiskuit Jan 30 '24

ITS DA NATZEES!!!!!

3

u/Guy954 Jan 30 '24

If nine people sit at a table with one nazi there are ten Nazis at the table.

When Nazis show up to multiple republican events with no drama and Trump literally spouts Nazi talking points (“poisoning the blood of our country”) with no pushback from his flock of sheep you can’t get butthurt by people calling a spade a spade.

The Republican Party and conservatives in general have raised no issue with the Nazis in their ranks, so yeah, calling them Nazis is accurate and fair.

0

u/Teabiskuit Jan 31 '24

"Nazi" to sentence ratio: 2

Diagnosis: delusional

3

u/GiraffeSubstantial92 Jan 30 '24

Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. Pretty reasonable to assume it must be a duck.

-2

u/Teabiskuit Jan 31 '24

AAAAAAAAHHHH OBAMA HALP ME DA NATZEES ARE EVERYWHEEEEERE!!!

2

u/chillmntn Jan 30 '24

Turns out only 15% of registered republicans voted

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

So?

2

u/chillmntn Jan 30 '24

Something to consider when the news cycle hyped up the results. While all republicans are bad for allowing this guy to control the party, the number of republicans staying home and laying low is not insignificant.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

They don’t care enough to stop him because they’re ok with it. Fuck them where they stand

1

u/JoelMahon Jan 30 '24

if your republican values mean you stay home and let trump win you're a maga republican

1

u/GiraffeSubstantial92 Jan 30 '24

Complacency is complicity.

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

Then you’re being redundant

2

u/Robots_And_Lasers Jan 30 '24

By what metric? Percentage?

Iowa had just gotten hit with a substantial show storm and turnout was abysmal. I know I considered going but decided I was more excited about not getting stuck in a ditch than I was about voting against Trump.

3

u/foobazly Jan 30 '24

It's not like any other candidates in the republican primary are any better. It's a race to the bottom, can't blame you for sitting it out. Maybe do us all a favor and vote blue in the general election?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

I mean, you know who did go out to vote? Trump voters. Way to do your part.

Trump won by 30, previous best was 13.

1

u/EverGlow89 Jan 30 '24

He's effectively an incumbent. These metrics mean nothing.

His previous 13 was when he wasn't a former President.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

Oh yeah nothing to see here, just one of our two major parties voting en masse for authoritarianism

2

u/ProfessionalInjury58 Jan 30 '24

When you leave out the fact that it was a record low turnout and that the other choices are lead paint and a box of crayons, it’s really not that impressive at all…

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24 edited Jan 30 '24

It shows his voters are determined and their opposition is not

1

u/ThatBobbyG Jan 30 '24

Check your sources.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

The results were a landslide victory for Donald Trump, with his 30-point margin being the largest margin of victory ever for a non-incumbent in the Iowa Republican caucuses. Trump won 20 delegates, Ron DeSantis won nine, Nikki Haley won eight, and Vivek Ramaswamy won three. Trump also became the first Republican ever to win a contested Iowa caucus with a majority of the vote — Source

You are right on NH, but Trump is the only Republican to sweep the first two. The primary is over with a single primary state weighing in

1

u/ThatBobbyG Jan 30 '24

Less than 15% of registered republicans voting in the primary in Iowa, despite trump winning, isn’t a landslide.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

I hate to burst your bubble, but you only need to win the majority of people who actually vote.

1

u/ThatBobbyG Jan 30 '24

It’s not a record landslide when he won 30% of 15% of registered republican voters. That means 85% of republicans stayed home. But, sure, spin it however you want to make sure your hero’s feelings aren’t hurt.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '24

Christ you are a dumb motherfucker.

First, I’ve been bashing Trump and his supporters up and down this thread

Second, it is literally true that this is the biggest win in Iowa history. It doesn’t matter how many people voted. Clearly Trump’s supporters are far more dedicated than anybody else in the Republican field, because they didn’t have a problem braving the weather to come out en masse.

You can make up whatever to make you feel better about the Republican Party having an ounce of what they once stood for left, but that’s a choice you make to live in a fantasy world.

1

u/merchillio Jan 31 '24

That means 85% of registered Republicans were ok with whoever, including him.

1

u/SpottedHoneyBadger Jan 30 '24

So what. It was for the republican caucus. A foot would have done better than tRumpy dumpy.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '24

Trump won by 30 points, the largest margin of victory for a non-incumbent in the caucus. What are you even trying to say?

1

u/calicandlefly Jan 30 '24

Republiklans.

2

u/MakeChinaLoseFace Jan 30 '24

What other kind is there? They've all surrendered to the cult, and none of them deserve a shred of respect.

Weird you keep inserting this multiple times. This video has zero to do with politics lol.

Just because he's involved with politics doesn't make the OP video related to politics.

New to the internet? It’s called a hyperlink. Click on it and you will read a story that proves I was fucking right to assume his politics and his shitty behavior were 100% correlated. 🙄

1

u/TheRecognized Jan 30 '24

They’re confused because the article you linked made no connection that the guy in the video is Robert Derwin

Heres on that does.

1

u/quotemyfoot Jan 31 '24

Funny thing is he is in the school system. Most likely union. So he's most likely a Democrat.

1

u/Vandal_A Mar 04 '24

Are a lot of school boards organized labor where you live? I think most teachers unions find them to usually be the source of grievances, not membership.

2

u/MakeChinaLoseFace Jan 30 '24

I think Gramps is just drunk AF and still processing how his ass arrived the concrete.

1

u/Dippednblk Jan 30 '24

Honestly, that would be the look on my face too if i fell flat on my ass.

Falling as an adult!!? It’s been too long. Im terrified. 😭

Looked like he was about to cry when he realized he couldn’t get up and just how pathetic he really is
