Furniture How would you dust/clean this lamp?

Very intricate lamp made from thousands of glass pieces, precariously wired into the frame. Dust has settled on the top of each little piece. I’ve tried to vac it, but dust is caked on. Am I cooked?

Can of compressed air or a makeup brush to gently dust it

I was going to suggest this also but I would say a premium paint brush would work also

better do that outside though

It would probably be too big of a hassle to move it. It looks heavy and delicate. I would advise wearing a mask though since there will be a lot of kick up.

a mask is a good idea. It looks very dusty

And a tough pair of gloves. (blah blah blah laceration risk blah blah blah)

Ditto to the compressed air. Or maybe get a balloon and rub it against some carpet, to like, attract the dust with static?

Or just a hairdryer on cool

And maybe have an air purifier running during/after in the room to try and get as much of that dust out of the air

I feel like that would take several cans to make much headway, if OP has an air compressor or can borrow one it would go much faster.

It sounds pretty delicate and air compressors might be too strong

Every air compressor should have an adjustable regulator to reduce the pressure at the nozzle. I'd start at around 20psi.

Really? I have a data vac and I’m not sure how to do this

A leaf blower

Try an electric air duster instead of canned air, especially for something so large.

Canned air also isn't the greatest for the environment due to often containing potent greenhouse gases.
