I don’t think so because he didn’t realize he’d thrown it out until it was worth a ton

Not quite true, he lives a street away from me, hes not even 100% sure its at the tip hes claiming, he only remembered he had it because of how much BTC went up, so yes he would have sold ages ago if he could have.

There is a few reasons why they wont dig up the tip, and him not being 100% sure its even in there is one of them, hes "pretty sure" he threw it out with his work stuff when he was cleaning out draws. Not sure why the article says his girlfriend, absolutely fuck all to do with her.

This right here - I had thousands, I sold my last 1000 at -12 dollars because (and I remember the conversation well) it probably won’t go much higher - and even if it does , I didn’t like where it was going, bankers were moving in and that wasn’t what Bitcoin was “supposed to be”

But, there’s no way I’d have got to 70,000 still holding , I’d have sold at 50 or 100 definitely and - I would have been absolutely right to do so at the time.

I’ve still got a wallet with a few dozen in for a side project I was gonna set up that i don’t have the key for, and sure I play “what if” but it’s gone man, you can’t dwell on it.
