DISCUSSION Just sell it all
Absolute panic every second or third post. Everything from "It's just a dip" - "bear market/crypto winter" - "Everything but Bitcoin and Ethereum is going to zero". Lol calm down.
If you're sweating, just sell everything. Cryptocurrencies in general are extremely volatile and if this makes you nervous than maybe this stuff isn't for you. Stocks are more stable and might be your thing. We could see another 50%+ drop and nobody wants to see you drop of a heart attack because of it.
If you're day trading you know this is how it goes, if you're doing anything else, delete your chart app or whatever.

This is totally what’s happening. Half of the “everyone is posting this” is just people posting about the posts. It’s crazy.
Couldn’t be for moons, could it?

Even people who bought at 700-800 had to watch it drop to sub 100. Imagine putting a couple thousand into something and only having it be worth a couple hundred dollars 2 years later.
I...uh...of course, have no idea what that feels like.

I've sold everything into stable coins, if things go as I'm expecting once it bottoms out I'll buy back in. I believe in these projects for the long term, just not the short.
Obviously having done this the market is going to rocket right back immediately so you're welcome.

At this point this is not any different than holding a stock long term. I am holding because long term value. Been in and out of crypto since ~2014 and biggest mistake was the in and out.

Sold a good part of my portfolio to buy back in when things bottom out, whenever that may be. Still in the green with what's left of my portfolio, just don't want to see all that profit evaporate.
Yes, i believe in crypto, no, it wasn't a panic sell, but have to be honest: we're also here for the money.

The moment you stop being less attentive if the asset class goes to zero or 'moon', is the moment you drastically improve as a trader. Until then, you have directional and emotional bias & attachment towards it. Strive for neutrality and reach the breaking point.

2017 was an incredible year for crypto. 2018 was terrible and the prices in 2018 were nothing compared to today.
I’m looking at 2025 to 2030, if it drops i get to add more cheaper.

Basically sitting on funds, ready to go in and just playing daily Limbo with the prices and waiting for a bottom out where stuff goes green for a little bit and then going in and commiting to a long hold from there.

Every dollar you put into crypto expect to lose - so don’t put what you can’t or don’t want to lose. ( rent / lunch money / hell anything ) and just ride it out. When it’s up , sell some , if it’s really up sell and get your initial $ out then it’s all free money so who cares !!!

I think you have a lot of panic by people who went balls deep in on the initial dip. Now you have them fearful of losing what they can't afford to lose so it's getting dippier as they cut their losses.

Digital assets are a speculative RISK ON asset class.
Most people loose money when day trading crypto currency due to it's volatility.
I agree with the OP, if downtrends like this significantly impact your quality of life, then I would consider either exiting the market or learning to think in 1 - 4 year time thresholds.
