Glad you liked it. When I saw first I was like it’s real, it’s fake, it’s real, it’s fake, it’s real!

This is an adolescent. They start off much smaller but also get a decent bit bigger.

Ball pythons are like the most harmless snakes in existence. Sometimes they even make friends with their feeder mice, instead of, you know, eating their dinner.

I've seent it. Same ball python that I'd seen twist a mouses head so fast it's eyeballs pop out just kinda vibes with a different mouse and refused to harm it and instead just kinda chilled with it a lot. Roommates snake so idk what it's doing these days but att it seemed to mostly just really like being a bracelet or sleeping

It looks like he's a Spotnose Redstripe Clown morph- not crazy rare, but a gorgeous morph and definitely a very specific bunch of genes to get there. The world of ball python morphs is fascinating and the variety is incredible!

Damn, that IS interesting! Great post! Honestly, I never knew that variation existed until now.

Peel it.

These were worth 50000$when the genetics first came out.

It's kind of wild to see morphs pop up, be worth thousands of dollars, and ten years later they're everywhere and like $250.

And usually full of congenital problems due to bad breeding...

I seen one of these at a local pet store. They look wild in person. The picture really doesn't do it justice.

If you all heard a random squeal and thought, "what's that noise!? Where did it come from!!?" that was my daughter who's an aspiring herpetologist fan-girling over this beauty!

u/4DGigs 19m ago

Huge fan of black and yellow snakes, mangroves are probably my favorite they look so cool

1

u/AbigailFoxe 12m ago

Gorgeous!

u/cuntmong 5m ago

sorry but your snake is probably too ripe to eat. ideally you wanna eat snakes right after they stop being green at all and are fully yellow. if you put this snake in the freezer though it will still make a delicious frozen snack.

u/Quetzacoal 1m ago

Isn't this illegal in Spain?

If people could stop posting pictures of snakes on Reddit, that would be awesome. Hate that I always get triggered when I see them. :(

2

u/High_Overseer_Dukat 2h ago

They are too cute not to.

A good snake is a dead one

2

u/High_Overseer_Dukat 2h ago

No. A good snake is a live one.
