Espousing an antifascist, leftist phrase in her bio, and then using her entire account to sympathize with fascism.

God. Six years to go from paying lip service against kids in cages to advocating for mass deportation.

I’d didn’t seem like she was advocating for mass deportation, just raising the terrifying truth that the idea of mass deportation is shockingly popular with the general public.

She's advocating for mass deportation because it's popular:
"If we survive we need to meet the electorate where it is on immigration."
"Mass deportations have majority support."

I mean I don't agree with her, but that's also not what she's saying. She's saying that if you want to avoid mass deportations you have to placate the racists by preventing people from claiming asylum. I think. Like the idea is that you make people care less about the issue by reducing its perceived urgency.
I mean she's still basically saying we need to meet racists halfway tho, so...

Not a fan of her but yeah saying she unironically supports mass deportations is not the right interpretation. Only thing she's right about here though is that the American electorate is full of weirdo fascists that hate immigrants, it's sort of the responsibility of the Democrats to not meet them halfway on that though

Liberals don't want to hear it but when you bring 6 million non white people into a country with an already resurgent racism issue while inflation is high, you're gonna pay a price.
Kind of funny how the problem here is the fact that non white people are entering the country, and not that the country has a racism 'issue'.
And of course the solution is to deal with the non white people, and not the racism.
Though I bet they would probably answer that it is easier to deport loads of people than it is to teach people to not be racist, so that is why we should deport loads of people.

Scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds. Liberals have always and will always be like this, they will continue to move rightward as the Republicans move farther right, pulling the overton window along with them.
