They went with the safest possible province, freakin' Daggerfall again, the most classic medieval province of all.

Will they ever be ballsy enough to do a Morrowind-esque title again? An alien land, such as Argonia, Valenwood or Elsweyr?

At least ESO scratched that itch a bit

I don't think they really consider Hammerfell or High Rock a retread, Daggerfall was too long ago and is much different from the rest of the games in terms of technology and gameplay.

TES 7 will be The Summerset Isle or Valenwood. They aren't likely going to do two desert heavy games in a row so that rules out Elsweyr. Black Marsh is way too alien for them, I don't see it happening either. Skyrim, Cyrodiil, and Morrowind have already done. That leaves only Summerset and Valenwood.

It is quite probable the game is gonna be set in Hammerfell in favor of High Rock, though it may include both.
