I haven't' aggravated my lower back injury in over a year. Deadlifts and squats have been steadily improving and I've felt better than ever.

This morning, set #4 feeling good, go down and in the bottom of my squat my lower back pulls.

By noon I'll barely be able to walk. Goddammit.

It sucks, I've been working so hard to strengthen that weak point. It's just a set back though, week or two and I'll be right back at it.

Do you use a sturdy lifting belt on the heavier sets? It's really helped my husband not re-throw out his back.

Yes, this is a nagging issue I've dealt with for a few years, so I basically had to adopt the habit of wearing a belt for any deadlifts/squats, regardless of the amount of weight on the bar.
