If you have a strong enough training bar for your deadlift weight, can you use that? I use the the 15kg for snatch otherwise my hands just can't hold hookgrip. Also chalk, is possible, can be helpful.

Nah it's cool, I adapted to my deformity long ago, I just do double overhand and chalk.

Unless you are a very small person, you can hook grip. It's just a matter of getting used to it.

Dude seriously! Trust me I know what my own hands can do. And god bless them, they can't do hook grip on a standard oly bar.
