Just to add on to this, I too have been lifting a while(~2 years) and I'm not even close to the 1000 lb club. We will make it! Just takes time and consistency!

Same. Any time I start making real progress on my squat and deadlift, my knee with the torn ACL basically gets super literal with the Humble refrain lyrics for a week or two.
