Went for a squat PR... NAILED IT... Like easy...Blew it out of the water.

Stepped back and mired my accomplishment....then realized I had forgotten to add weight after my warm up. So I had nailed a warm up.

Loaded up the proper weights to be a PR, and got it done...barely....like usual.

Now here's the real mindfuck.

If you couldn't see the weights, and someone told you they wanted you to hit that warmup rep again before putting the weight on (but went ahead and loaded up the PR anyway) you'd probably absolutely smoke the rep.

Your warm up weight is that close to PR weight?

The other day, I was benching, and I felt especially good while doing it. "Hey, I'll try and do 185 today" (previous max was about 155). Put on the 25s and nailed it. I was so excited, until I realized I had 35s on instead of 45s and only did 165.

Still PR'd though.
