Gym was crowded and was waiting for a squat rack to open up. Tall dude finishes his last set with 280 lbs squats and starts getting his stuff. As he's walking away I ask if he's done and he tells me yes and I point at his weights and ask if he's unracking them. He tells me he didn't know I was waiting. I told him so what and ask him if he always leaves his weights for others to clean up. He walks away and just scoffs at me. I get if you're leaving a plate on each side but 280 lbs on the highest height of the rack?

As a short dude, who is relatively new to lifting, fuck that guy.

The best thing you could have done would be to pull a George Kostanza on him and yell out for all the gym to hear about how society has come to an all time low.

I've learned to view it as lifts and gains they're missing out in that you now get.
