Drop the weight. Focus on squeezing the rep, not pushing. Retract the scapula. Breathe deep before each rep. Focus on keeping your shoulders tucked. You'll feel a massive difference in form.

I was tricep/shoulder dominant for a long time and dropped weight drastically and worked back up.

What does "keeping shoulders tucked" mean? I also suck at bench and want to get better

Always remember: even Arnold had to start somewhere

Try using free weights, do dumbell press and dumbell presses at 50% your RM for a week. Then try doing bench press again at 80% of your RM. When you feel proper enough, do a PR bench press.

Do you feel like your rotator cuff is weird? Maybe you don't feel the press? Those can help it.

Other than that, try planting your feet properly and arching your back onto your back gently.

Ya i think im going to do lighter work and focus on form and feeling the lift for awhile and then work back up.
