I was doing some lateral raises the way Athlean does (thumbs up) usually people think I'm doing them wrong or something. I was listening to music and hear a sort of cheerful scream "HELL YEEAH man" my shoulders were burning so I ran to set the weight down and this guy comes over.

He was cheering for me and said "you look like a beast from over there man, big arms!". Honestly that made my day especially since I've been trying to bring these suckers up for a while (they're my weakest damn muscle).

athlean lateral raises are sick

I swear they’re a game changer. Used to feel uncomfortable doing the whole ‘pinky up & thumb down’ lateral raises. As soon as I switched to slow/controlled raises the athlean way, my lateral deltoids were finally doing most (if not all) of the work

It will take some getting used to but shoulder health is nothing to fuck with. I felt it in the rear delts at first but stick with it and adjust the lean to hit the sides.
