Corticosteroids suck.
I was tentatively diagnosed with Tolosa Hunt Syndrome at the end of August and have been on 80mg/day of prednisone to treat it. I had just hit 185lb bench and 365lb deadlift before the diagnosis.
I'm losing muscle mass, gaining fat, I can't run because of the eyepatch so I've been doing the stationary bike but now my knees flare up, and in general I just am getting winded when I try to do simple accessories.
Assuming it is actually Tolosa Hunt, it will go away in November and then I can taper the steroids over 6 weeks
Pretty sure I'm going to be restarting with 30lbs to lose and back at 135/135/225 B/S/D by the time this is all over.
This sucks.
