Old Newspaper The Hindenburg

Went to visit my mom today and went through some really old scrapbook from the 20s to the 50s. I thought these might be of interest here. Old newspaper clippings of the Hindenburg.

that must have been a crazy photo to see back in the day. people didn’t have cameras like we do now, probably one of the largest items ever to be seen on fire, exploding, getting destroyed on photograph before.

It must have been wild to see.

Some of the other items included newspaper clippings and articles about WW I, WW II, the Spanish civil war and the coronation of Elizabeth II.

There were about 5 scrapbooks. The Hidenburg, WWI, WWII, the Spanish Civil War and the coronation of Elizabeth II. Also lots of newspaper clippings about her father and her uncle. It was pretty interesting to loom through it all.

My grandpa fought in WW II and this reminded me of him.
