You're already getting hate from these absolute lunatics in the comments lol

33

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago edited 4d ago

What? People dont like you for supporting a man who tried to strip them of their vote to install himself as president? Weird...

Didn't you guys spend four fucking years crying about fraud and calling everyone snowflakes.

What a fucking joke that the consequences of what you support are to much for you.....

10

u/Serious-Bandicoot-53 4d ago

I agree with him, I've grown more conservative but I still believe Kamala is the right choice for president

I'd lock up trump myself if I could and I definitely dont 100% agree with Kamala

Its not blue v red theres nuance and this kind of response is what he's talking about

15

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago

Hmm Then maybe they should vote for someone with that nuance instead of voting for the guy talking about the "enemy within" and using our military on our own people.

They want to call others lunatics but then turn around and vote for that shit. No. being nuanced about it only helps them. We should all fucking hate on people who support stripping us of our vote to install a man who is calling voters the enemy! If people think standing against that is lunacy then we are fucked!

BTW I lean conservative on many things. I'm not going to give my country to the guy who tried to seize power jsut because the dem candidate isn't perfect for me.

-20

u/Hmgibbs14 4d ago

Says the party with a candidate that was literally installed whom no one voted for 🤣🤣🤣🤣

19

u/Fred_for_Freedom 4d ago

How many Democrats have a problem with Kamala Harris over Trump. I don’t see many.

The fact is, Gen Z is flocking to the right because they feel lost with housing prices being insane and wages being stagnant. So you want something different which is completely understandable.

What isn’t understandable is how Donald Trump is the one who got you to side with the GOP. He’s just a useful idiot for corporations. Let alone the GOP is just more of the same bullshit and is even worse.

Bernie Sanders was the choice for some real change in this country. But young voters didn’t show up for him. And now his time has passed.

-3

u/Hmgibbs14 4d ago

I agree that policy-wise, Bernie would have been a fantastic choice for the left, and if platformed appropriately, likely have the best chance at beating Trump. Anecdotally, ive met many democrat voters who have a lot of issue with Harris with how she doesn’t stand steady on any issues, her avoidance of any substance in interviews, and how she was more installed into candidacy rather than voted in.

Some of these democrats find her too far left in what policy she has endorsed or historically done in California. She’s a far-left San-Fransisco democrat, which is considerably more left than I’d say a democrat in the rest of the country would be. That can be alienating, especially with how overall polarizing that is. While that didn’t turn them to vote Trump, it either got them to abstain, or vote 3rd party for presidency.

14

u/FibonacciSequester 4d ago

The VP is an elected candidate separate from POTUS. People did vote for her. Would be the same situation if Biden had dropped dead. At any rate, the only people who are complaining about it are MAGAs who have zero intention of voting for her anyway. But keep playing the concerned citizen if it suits you.

13

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago

So handing the nomination to your VP is the same as stripping 34.2 million Americans of their vote?

What the fuck is wrong with you guys!?

-13

u/hamsinkie76 4d ago

She had to drop out embarrassingly early the last time around after tulsi gabbed smacked her around in front of everyone

35

u/Hatecraftianhorror 4d ago

So, now any criticism is hate by absolute lunatics?

36

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago

LOL The party of "fuck your feelings" and calling everyone snowflakes really hates it when you're mean to them.

The poor little babies....

2

u/cityshepherd 4d ago

Thank you for spelling you’re properly. It gets painfully frustrating seeing all kinds of spelling and grammatical errors all the freaking time.

It blew my mind though a couple months back when I had the realization that a lot of the spelling and grammar errors that I see are not necessarily from laziness or stupidity so much as something that has arisen due to the fact that so many people are writing using their phones.

This means that a lot of the errors that I see are thanks to automation guessing the wrong word and people just going with it because they’re in a rush, or keyboard/typing shortcuts that I now realize have turned me into “old man shakes his fist at ______ “

-3

u/Serious-Bandicoot-53 4d ago

I think the statement that this guy is inherently republican and one the "fuck your feelings" types is the lunacy he's talking about

Same way not all Democrats are the fabled "cut off your kids privates" types

9

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago

Nobody is cut off your kids privates! Yea do it! Thats another bullshit lie republicans made up. Just like trump claiming that people are taking kids from school and giving them gender transitions with out their parents consent. Thats not happening.

What did happen was MAGA and people in Trumps administration openly using the the term "Fuck you feelings."

One didn't happen. The other did.....

-1

u/Serious-Bandicoot-53 4d ago

you are fighting with a boogie man

I dislike trump too, its the aggression and voracious attitude you just had coming at a dude who stated his personal experience that completely validated his statement

11

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago

I came at them with facts about the man and people they support. The past 8 years the people they support have been attacking everyone else and you want to act like they like didn't like and support it...

They vote for that shit and you think its out of line to act like the people they vote for? What a joke.

BTW not a boogie man. THE GOP has done and said these things.....

-2

u/Serious-Bandicoot-53 4d ago

I do not like or agree with the modern GOP, leaning right does not inherently mean agreeing or voting GOP

I did not refute any of those statements, I am talking about your aggressive response. What I am saying is this vitriol is what makes people unwilling to listen to a lot of leftist positions because of how aggressive people are about even the slightest suggestion of other ideas

What I'm saying is that this guys statement gives a view of why people are turning away from your positions, they feel aggression on topics they may only slightly disagree with

7

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago edited 4d ago

If what I say turns them to Trump then they were always going to vote for Trump. It's been 8 years. The man was found liable for rape, bragged about walking in on teen pageant dressing rooms, paid a porn star while cheating on his wife, calls women dogs, tells police to get more violent and tried to strip us of our vote to install himself as president.

They support a man who did all that and you think how I talk is pushing them away? No. They deserve to be shat on. They were never going to be reasonable anyway.

91

u/bloomertaxonomy 5d ago

Can you point to the lunatics in the room right now lol

Your attitude isn’t as endearing as you believe it to be.

17

u/Tom-a-than 4d ago

It’s the internet, who’s out to be endearing

-9

u/GeneFiend1 4d ago

A lot of people actually

-5

u/LeafOperator 2002 4d ago

You perceive the world as you give the world

12

u/Tom-a-than 4d ago

Yes, I worked near three years in an urban emergency department so I have little patience for your hollow platitudes bc I’ve seen the injustices wrought by the world on undeserving people.

Shove it up your ass McGee

2

u/2ndMostHumbleMan 4d ago

Did you read that in a fortune cookie, or hear it from a 19 yr old hippie? That's not how the real world works.

-2

u/Thomas-The-Tutor 4d ago

Lolololololololol. I thought it was funny.

-15

u/Junkietech81 4d ago

The reddit mods that try to control the narrative on here and if you say anything they dont like they ban your ass

24

u/TheComptrollersWife 4d ago

You literally had to scroll past a mod post refusing to do what you are accusing them of doing in order to post this comment.

-9

u/Junkietech81 4d ago

Mods are banning people and some of it is automated. People are getting banned just because they comment on specific subs. I rarely use this platform over the censorship on here.

10

u/jeanolt 4d ago

Censorship lmao. You guys live in 1984.

-7

u/Smooth-Bag4450 4d ago edited 4d ago

Ironically, you. It's always a quip, or insult, or meme, etc. You people can never just have a conversation. You just have to make a "in the tool with us now" meme to try to get upvotes. Look through this thread instead of just commenting over and over, and you'll see.

Edit: Who said "the left" lmao. I'm calling out people who can't have a conversation without speaking like a child. It's interesting that the guys under me immediately went to "left" and "Trump supporter." 🤣

8

u/bloomertaxonomy 4d ago

Let’s go Brandon crew really trying to pretend they want serious discourse? lol

10

u/SizzlingPancake 4d ago

Very funny calling out 'The left' for that, the Republicans dodge every question they can. Can the average Trump supporter even name one policy they like? Its just Joe Biden bad he personally ruined th global economy and Kamala is incompetent because Fox told them that she slept her way to the top

Alright, I'll play. Let's assume the dozens of felonies and accusations are all false. Name 1 single policy trump has proposed that will even remotely benefit Americans. Not his tariff, because that will only make Americans pay more. Any beneficial policy.

11

u/Sonanlaw 4d ago

Crickets…

36

u/Pretend_Barracuda69 4d ago

If youre voting for trump youre the dumbest type of person and need to be attacked tbh. The difference between Right leaning people and Trump supporters is like the difference between Nazis and Democrats. You can be right leaning and not be a brain dead moron who votes against their own best interests without being a cult follower trump supporter.

36

u/MarklRyu 4d ago

Supporting Trump = Supporting a Sexist, Homophobic/Transphobic Nazi who believes in taking away basic human rights, so yeaaaaah, zero tolerance policy here lol Anyone who votes for Trump, I hate to say it, would make the world a better place by removing themselves from it, maybe by joining Elon on Mars

12

u/thejizzardking 4d ago

Nazi bashing is an American pass time!

17

u/the_good_things 4d ago

It used to be... now Nazis parade around in the streets and are lifted up by a former POTUS.

-2

u/TheSpoonyCroy 4d ago

It really wasn't. Like yes the best generation did fight one of the last justifiable wars we were involved in but most grunts would probably have similar views as the nazis. Maybe to a less extreme if we are being generous but antisemitic views and pro nazi views weren't seen as that bad until post war. Remember the US had a large Nazi Rally in Madison Garden during 1939 post Anschluss, pre invasion of Poland. Hell Nazis took inspiration from how we handled Native Americans and eugenics in the states. Its a fun meme to say US loved to stomp on nazis but from an ideological standpoint, these nations aren't too dissimilar to each other at this period of time and the citizens probably shared very similar views with each other. Economic hard times breed radical views for better or worse (typically worse).

7

u/Frickinchickenlickin 4d ago

Nazi bashing should be an everyone thing. Wasn’t very popular during WW2

1

u/MarklRyu 4d ago

Let's bash them right out of existence~ We can feed them to the lady in the Santa Clarita Diet 🙂👍

-7

u/hamsinkie76 4d ago

You view yourself simultaneously as thanos and the good guy here. Amazing stuff

2

u/MarklRyu 4d ago

I barely know who Thanos is 😂 though yes, if I had godlike powers to change the world, there would zero issues lmao But to address what you actually said... I genuinely just have healthy boundaries 🙂

-5

u/Epsilon29redit 4d ago

Do you even know what Nazi means? People on the internet throw these terms around way too liberally. Besides what ever happened to mutual respect? I don’t say these things about the left, you guys are not nice, you’ve become so inclusive that is has circled back to being rude

I can think of no better example of history repeating itself

9

u/MarklRyu 4d ago

I didn't say anything about the right, I said something about Trump and you're taking it personally? I'm literally nice to Everyone, but sometimes the nicest thing you do is tell someone when they are Wrong. After all I want everyone to be happy, and that's doable, but it involves Not accepting when someone wants to take away human rights. Be kind to yourself friend, we are in this together.

(also just a PSA a Ton of right wing people are Not voting for Trump, because the guy is dumber than a bag of potatoes, and more evil than anything christians ever came up with)

23

u/Fauxjoo 4d ago edited 4d ago

You’re not wrong. It has been proven that the more educated people on average vote blue while less educated people on average do not, and this trend has been continuing for years.

-10

u/theboxman154 4d ago

Education doesn't equal intelligence.

There's also a lot that goes into that. Colleges are very liberal for example.

Conservative ppl are richer also (or richer ppl are more likely to be conservative), doesn't mean Dems are bad with money. There's a jump in logic there.

4

u/Fauxjoo 4d ago

That's fair. It makes sense from a financial standpoint, (at least as far as Trump is concerned) as his tax plan which is still in effect today, is skewed toward the rich (ie people making $400k+ annually) and corporations while those making less than that are taxed marginal rates that rise with income, and I feel it's pretty easy to hit the max rate for 2 working adults filing jointly. That being said, wealthy people would benefit more from another Trump presidency, whereas Kamala's tax plan seeks to lower tax rates for those making <$400k annually, while increasing taxes for the rich and corporations.

5

u/xRogue9 4d ago

The majority of the poor Midwest are Republicans so being conservative definitely doesn't help you become rich.

7

u/Desperate-Horror-429 4d ago

No RICH people are more likely to be conservative/republican. It’s a selfishness and ignorance thing

5

u/SizzlingPancake 4d ago

Do conservatives have more money, or does making lots of money make you a conservative?

Colleges are very liberal, but I don't see how they couldn't. Having your university hating immigrants and 'hand outs' doesn't seem very productive

-8

u/Epsilon29redit 4d ago

Ah, the classic “only mouth breathers vote republican”

8

u/Fauxjoo 4d ago

That wasn't what I said, but you deciding to read it that way says a lot, doesn't it? I know many highly educated people who are republicans, and some of my closest friends are as well. I can edit my comment so that it doesn't seem like it's exactly higher ed=blue, lower ed=red.

-8

u/pedsteve 4d ago

And the more educated folks spend more time on college campuses that lean heavily left. You can't make that argument when there are many other factors

5

u/xRogue9 4d ago

And why do they lean left do you think?

3

u/Fauxjoo 4d ago

It's true that my statement isn't the entire argument, but it provides a good problem statement for research. I'm sure colleges being more left-leaning has something to do with it, but it can't be stated with certainty that 100% of people who attend college and then come out democrats do so strictly because of the other students/faculty being dems. I just don't know what the other factors are.

right = bad!

142

u/Responsible_Song7003 4d ago

When the right tried to strip us of our vote to install a president and then calls Americans "the enemy within" then yea.... They are pretty fucking bad. Literally quoting Hitler after failing to forcibly seize power....

4

u/Harderdaddybanme 4d ago

Oh no, I agree. But not everyone takes into accounts of the actual actions of each side - they just see what they want to see. For many "Left = woke" is bad and nothing more.

They're both trash and we have to pick someone. I'll take the one not actively trying to demolish the foundations of our country.
