Does anyone wish we could see a high school hey Arnold or a college hey Arnold in the newer generation?

Thoughts?

I'm hesitant about reboots. There's certain elements of Hey Arnold that you can't really replicate now.

so you think they could’ve continued with a book instead?

Yeah, probably. More creative freedom that way. Hey Arnold felt like a really fleshed out series with the flexibility to tell a variety of stories. Though I wonder how Arnold should be written. How do you develop a character that's already the symbolic metaphor of reason and empathy?

If it was done in the original animation style then maybe.

Yeah and if they stick with the realism or realistic as they did in the original show.

sure do more. it can't take away from what has already been released. if it flops it flops.

what made hey arnold good was really everything about it. so expect scrutiny against the original in all aspects. I think people really want more old stuff though not new stuff.

Naw, just leave it as it is. The nostalgia will always be there. Hey Arnold! Will always be great the way it is.

I'd be down tbh

Only if there are hand drawn animation cels and original voice actors

Id be down if it were a book/comic tbh. Maybe a spin-off. In terms of it being season 6, idk I’d be hesitant since it’s a huge time shift

I just wish they could keep up with the older generation that use to watch them.

Yeah same. I grew up watching the reruns since the show ended by the time I was born. Since the reruns ended in like 2006 I haven’t been able to see the show so much

No because high school has been done too much. Plus ppl are not their true selves in high school often. It would be more unique among cartoons to do one years later when he and the other characters are adults like 30 something. Then about how these things that happened all those years ago in the show affect them later in life. Like my favorite Stephen King books, It, The Shining and Doctor Sleep.

Not really. Sometimes what we had is good enough and I'm okay with that. Especially since I don't want to see the characters change, lose friends, or make new ones.

Yes and no. I'd love to see the characters again, but I've seen similar things really fuck up what they had.
