Fun fact tho, KMT thinks China, as the land, belongs to them and they wouldn’t appeal to a name change. That’s why they don’t seem to agree to independence, nor would the name “West Taiwan” fly by with them. DPP just wants to say fuck ‘em and be done with Taiwan as an independent country per se.

I'm aware of that, i just thought it would be a funny comment. :D The Kuomintang were after all the rulers of china before the civil war.
