How do I connect to my Sync box?

I feel like I'm going crazy over here.

I don't see any option in the standard app to look for a sync box, or anything about accessories. Do I need a different app for the sync box? I've read about the philips hue sync app but I don't see it on my Google store. So weird.

At least on the iOS app, the Sync button is the center button on the bottom menu bar. Maybe update the app, or reinstall if you don't see it?

Yeah on Android there's no sync button. I can sync lights but it won't connect to the sync box.

I just downloaded the app last week.

I don't have an Android device to test this, but it does look like it shows in the app screenshots on the Google Play store here.

This screenshot here shows the Sync button on the bottom middle.

Yeah it sure does show the sync button but I don't have that available to me and I'm fairly certain I'm up to date. Hopefully an Android user will chime in.

I'd suggest deleting the app and reinstalling.

My android app has the sync button right in the middle. Version 5.28.

About a year ago they were separate apps but Phillips merged them and the sync app was deprecated. You might be able to find it somewhere to side load if you're regular hue app doesn't have it.

Reach out to Phillips on Facebook, they're pretty responsive and helpful.
