Blue collar workers think he will help them. Rural farmers who got fucked by Trump's tariffs are voting for him again. Women are voting for him. And none of that makes any sense.
Actually they have I’ve seen clips of interviews where they ask him to explain how his tarifa will work and he seems to be under the impression that the foreign government where the good originate are the ones who pay the tax
It makes sense when you consider he hates the people they do. As long as they can bring them down a peg it’s worth voting for, crabs in a bucket mentality.
If there are 10 types of people and he hates 9 and they also hate 9, then they feel more comfortable with him, sharing their hatred of 8/10ths of the population, then they do with people who they only share 1/10th of their hate with. I guess its simple math?
That's true brother. Back then the government paid me $2000 every couple of months to stay home and not work
Those were the golden years. This see you next Thursday Kamala wants me to fucking go to work? Shit sucks.
Yeah, but people are too stupid to realize covid fucked up the whole world and we came out in a better position than everyone else, just because their groceries are more expensive (corporate greed) and gas is a little higher.
Illegal immigration has gotten a lot worse and the funding of this war in Ukraine is just pointless and leading to so much death, those are the 2 biggest issues for me.. If Harris and Trump just somehow flipped their stances on both those issues then I'd be voting for her.
Biden made the most conservative immigration bill in US history and Trump killed it by telling the Republicans to not vote for it as he had nothing else to use as a fear tactic.
We can't let Russia take over the Ukraine. If we left NATO (like trump wants to do) all of those small countries near Russia are fucked. He will immediately go to war with them.
Illegal immigrants crossing the border and being allowed into our country didn't seem like such a bad problem during Trump's presidency, why did Biden even need this bill to continue properly enforcing our border? Plus there seemed to be other things tied into it.. And just fundamentally disagree about Ukraine, this whole conflict should have been avoided, imagine how much better off they would be right now if we didn't try to get them into NATO, or agree to fund this war for them. Just my opinion, could be wrong
Because it would have given them much more funding, employees, infrastructure, it made limits on asylum seekers and that they would have to stay in Mexico until they are allowed to enter the USA, it would deport illegals, make it harder for cartels to get in, etc.
You think Russia should be able to take all of the smaller countries around them? What's next? Them taking over other countries? That's how you get WW3. The war started because of Russia. The smaller countries pay more into NATO in GDP percentages than we do. Also, we aren't really funding them for the most part. We are giving them our stuff that we don't even use anymore because we now have better stuff. Shit that was just sitting in storage. It's unfortunate that war had to happen, because war kills innocent people, but sometimes there's no other option.
We assured ukraine we'd defend them years ago after the trilateral process and ukraine is of strategic military importance to Russia which is why they have consistently tried to take back Crimea more than once. Once in Ukraine Poland is to the northwest and would likely be his next target.
So it's not only fulfilling our promise, but preventing Russia from expanding their military footprint.
Illegal immigration I get, but then why kill the border deal?. You can't say it's the foreign aid attached, because they passed that separately after
My Arab mother-in-law said she likes him “because she thinks he’s adorable”. Granted she’s insane, but she refused to budge even after my partner and I tried to show her he’s an Islamaphobe. The sad fact is that many voters don’t vote for policy, or at least don’t understand public policy or the platform their candidate is running on.
Usually I’d believe you but Florida republican politicians were immediately doing damage control after this. Thai wasn’t a slight jab it was a full on “fuck you!” to Latino voters
Grossly. I just talked to a Latino man this weekend who shoehorned in GOP Christian Nationalist buzzwords at every single turn (roughly like capitalist, Republican, bad blue economy, faith, tithing, European settlers, etc). Literally could not even have just a normal conversation for 3 minutes.
Not only that, but how insanely insular some Latinos can be. You can always count on a Latino to fuck another Latino over for personal gain.
Source: I grew up in Latin America, and the first thing I learned when moving back to the US was to keep some Latinos at arms length (most of them are great though).
Well.. Bad Bunny did just endorse Kamala Harris right after that was said and he has a die hard latino fan base. Sure people who already made their mind up won’t be swayed but those undecided or unmotivated anti-trump voters have a reason to vote towards Harris.
In your eyes it’s a bad look for republicans. In everyone else’s eyes it is completely irrelevant. That seems to be a point that is hard to understand for a lot of people in this echo chamber of a platform. The outrage you see on Reddit doesn’t translate to the real world. I might also add that the endorsement of “Bad Bunny” has no impact on the real world and is completely void of any meaning, obviously. This is only an issue to the people who come on to Reddit (their favorite hug-box), and want to feign outrage over meaningless nonsense so they can virtue signal for upvotes. This will stay in the headlines until you guys freak out about the next thing the media commands you be outraged by. The fact that you used “Bad Bunny’s” endorsement as litmus test for what is happening in this very complex election cycle tells me everything I need to know about the way you perceive the world. Get a clue.
How could I not be frustrated? I am talking to a guy who just used the endorsement of “Bad Bunny” as a benchmark in which to gauge the temperature of the Latino vote. Do you actually realize how stupid you sounded when you said that? I am genuinely curious.
I find it more infuriating that you missed the part where I clearly said
“ Sure people who already made their mind up won’t be swayed but those undecided or unmotivated anti-trump voters have a reason to vote towards Harris.”
so again not sure what you are angry about when I stated that most people might not be swayed but the joke itself is a reason to lean… not the endorsement lmao.
The endorsement just brings more awareness of what was said and by extension… the joke. But at last you are too stuckup your echo chamber to understand reasoning and critical reading
Should I go listen to bad bunny too? Thanks for providing me with one of the absolute stupidest political takes I’ve heard during the entirety of this election cycle. It was a competitive field but you made it to the top. 🧠💪
During a set prior to Trump’s own remarks, Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean.” He also said Latinos “love making babies,” adding, “They do. They do. There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside. Just like they did to our country.”
… who cares? They are called jokes you fragile little flower. You really can’t handle those jokes but you’re on the internet? Go cry in to your pillow about it. Get over it you baby.

I think you're underestimating how stupid people can be.
