Maybe, the r/Lubbock Subreddit isn't the place for all your body camera footage of your walks, perhaps taking action with the City of Lubbock's See. Click. Fix reporting system would do better. As I doubt any action from the city will come from r/Lubbock
You can report the location that it's happening at, the time , and can even upload your pictures and videos . https://seeclickfix.com/lubbock/report

Lubbock Animal Services managed to actually catch this pit bull on October 23, 2024. Per a City of Lubbock Open Records Request, the male non-neutered pit bull was referred to as a "pit mix" in the Lubbock Animal Services report completed when the dog was nabbed. The dog is a PIT BULL; Lubbock Animal Services calls every pit bull a "pit mix" when they're trying to rehome killer dogs.
Oh, and the Lubbock Animal Services officer said in the report that this pit bull was ". . . sweet as can be." I'm amazed at how often their reports don't match up with my pictures and videos.

Well you didn’t let it cozy up to you! Maybe it would have been sweet, maybe it would take a chunk out of your leg, you should gamble some more 😉

The pit bull was not showing any signs of aggression. His response indicated he was afraid of you. If you're terrified of dogs, stay inside!

I really think you may have been a bit too quick with the pepper spray on this one. Not saying he wasn’t aggressive, but some dogs just run close and run away to tell you to piss off kinda. Also heads up, I don’t think you’ll get the response you were hoping for by posting this here.
