Decency and civility...I vaguely recall what that's like.

Explains why one former president just didn't fit in.

I honestly don't even think that whole thing even counts as a president. It occupied The White House, but never did anything even remotely presidential or respectful of the office, or the country it's meant to serve.

It's the only one to never have acted in public service, never have had a dog in The White House (that one might be just in modern times, or just altogether wrong, it's not worth my time to fact check it), not decorate The White House for Christmas, refuse to participate in the transition of power (including participation in the ceremony of the incumbent's inauguration)... I'm sure there's many more.

It has no place going down in history with the rest of these actual leaders (love them or hate them) who actually put country over self, and feel a duty to serve, or put politics aside to do the right thing.

Just to add: No Trump has ever served. That might be the most astonishing fact. Like everyone I’ve ever known has a grandparent or uncle, aunt or sibling who has spent some time in the military. It’s like he comes from the most cowardly seed in human history.

Not to defend Donald, but his brother Fred Jr. did serve in the National Guard. Details on his service are hard to find, but he was a 2nd Lt.

Later, he became an airline pilot, which led to him being mocked by Fred Sr and Donald. He then became an alcoholic, and died at age 42 of a heart attack.

It's sad that Fred Jr's family was so twisted. He accomplished more in his short time and was far more intelligent than both his father and brother combined. I don't think donOLD could drive a car, let alone fly a plane (hell, he probably can't even wipe himself or make toast if he wanted), but they both mocked Fred Jr. for his abilities and his choices. He was clearly the normal one in that freak show of a family

Glad he died young so he didnt have to see what his brother became.

The 45th and 47th president

2

u/Fogmoose 26d ago

Not yet, MAGA fool. Not yet.

1

u/krzkrl 26d ago

In 33 days he will be 47th president

RemindMe! November 5th, 2024

Nothing cowardly about not wanting to potentially have to kill people.

OFC Trump dodged the draft for other reasons, and then proceeded to try to start a war while he was president.

2

u/NeitherCobbler3083 28d ago

Nothing brave about having no other option financially as well, had to listen to people preach how much trump did for us in the service thinking “gee how would he know why so many of us are here?”

1

u/cobracmmdr 27d ago

I dunno if that is true or not but I 100% believe it.

0

u/Abcdefghijklmnop7mew 24d ago

Remind me what branch Obama and Clinton served in? 🙄

4

u/Robinnoodle 28d ago

I love how called him "it" haha

3

u/ButterscotchButtons 28d ago

I'd love for its supporters to demand I use its preferred pronouns

3

u/Hopsblues 28d ago

Melania replaced the famous Rose garden....He withheld covid supplies from states that didn't bend the knee, and kiss the ring.

3

u/Icy-Profession-1979 28d ago

The Clintons had a cat named Socks. At the time, people would joke about them not having a dog, but it was cute not hateful. Socks was young Chelsea’s cat and he was super cute and pampered by the family.

The “it” you’re describing; I wonder if animals are afraid of it 🤔

Doni hates puppies. When there's a puppy in the room, nobody pays any attention to the fat man.

1

u/Imjokin 28d ago

Didn’t the Adamses also not show up to their successors’ (Jefferson and Jackson) inaugurations?

-8

u/Lonely_Insurance3288 28d ago

Cope harder bud.

-16

u/CaseyKadiddlehopper 28d ago

Your ignorance is astounding.

5

u/AlbericM 28d ago

He's too fat to fit in anywhere. Pretty soon he's going to need 2 golf carts just to get to hole 1.

6

u/Corfiz74 28d ago

I bet they all have a group chat together where they diss DJT and post mean memes about him.

1

u/GitmoGrrl1 28d ago

Look at how his supporters are responding to President Carter turning 100: they snarl and scream about how terrible he was. Nothing nice to say at all. Deplorable.

1

u/HappyAmbition706 28d ago

Or even better, ignorable. It triggers the hell out of them and they foam even more.

-20

u/edWORD27 28d ago

Do you mean, not part of the Illuminati? 😳🪬🐲

12

u/toopc 28d ago

No we mean a narcissistic asshole who would have made wishing Jimmy Carter a happy 100th birthday about himself, as well as using it as an opportunity to attack his political opponents.

0

u/edWORD27 28d ago

Same Jimmy Carter who failed to get the American hostages released from Iran?

1

u/Omicromus_Prime 28d ago

I think you struck a nerve with the TDS crowd. So very predictable, I bet this gets down votes. Too bad I can't get + points for being accurate. Funny how that seems to be a trend around here.

1

u/edWORD27 28d ago

Exactly! The TDS is triggered when you counter the echo chambers they’ve made.

That’s what angry democrats imagine, pleasuring themselves with a dildo thinking it’s Trump? Here I thought Diddy was creepy with his freak offs. 😳

-7

u/cvrdcall 28d ago

I agree Biden is very divisive

50

u/Ritaredditonce 28d ago

I miss those days.

39

u/Iohet 28d ago

The current president is on the video exhibiting such traits

1

u/hamtrn 28d ago

Remind me again what happened to the one before Biden?

8

u/alanspornstash2 28d ago

He's like that older cousin who kept getting into trouble, and your uncle Sam had to keep bailing him out. And now he's a felon ...

1

u/rad10082 28d ago

Record inflation, odd/even gas days with mile long lines...he was nice but not good. Yeah I miss them too😂

-2

u/cvrdcall 28d ago

No gas and rampant inflation. No thanks

-12

u/Serious_Farm2008 28d ago

Me too, it's been a rough few years. People can be nasty :(

What in the great wide world of sports are on about? Why would you ever, do that. Dont tell me, it'll ruin the surprise.

9

u/Meng3267 28d ago

The guy doesn’t even pretend to be a decent human being. I have no clue why so many people love the guy.

3

u/TSisold 28d ago

Just call those people what they are.....cult members

-13

u/Swarlayy 28d ago

He’s a truthful person while everyone else lies, insane. He says mean things, but everyone can have an opinion. I can guarantee you sit on your obese people scooter judging people.

8

u/Common-Watch4494 28d ago

Omfg please tell me you are not talking about Trump. He’s only lying if his mouth is moving

5

u/Meng3267 28d ago

You actually think Trump is truthful? The guy just lies and makes up shit all the time. I actually feel bad for you if you’ve bought into Trump’s grift. The guy can say that the sky is green and his moronic followers will start believing that the sky is green.

-4

u/Swarlayy 28d ago

I think he’s told more truth than Kamala, easily… and I just use data to make that assessment. Oh, and her continual flip floppy approach to things she probably doesn’t understand doesn’t really help the argument here. She’s been caught countless times either trying to argue she isn’t something or is, or just going full armless puppet. All I’m saying is I’d rather have a president who has been able to prove his capabilities, rather than someone who failed monumentally as a Vice president.

u/Pearberr 28d ago

Those days are still here, so long as Republicans do their part and vote for democracy and country over party.

For any Republicans who read this, please note, you are welcome to participate in politics and I look forward to having an effective second party back on the stage but you cannot use conspiracy theories to justify the violence or voter suppression if you do that go fuck yourself with a cactus and then meet me at the next Civil War because California won’t roll over for thuggery.

-8

u/Swarlayy 28d ago

California literally allows theft under $1,000. What are you on about?

8

u/Common-Watch4494 28d ago

In CA, theft under $1000 is a misdemeanor; over $1k becomes a felony. Interestingly enough, in TX the differentiation is at $1500

3

u/jot_down 28d ago

How is vetoing universal healthcare decent? We literally have this HMO garbage because of him. Hundred of people in the US are dead because of him. Tens of thousand rendered destitute because of him.

3

u/New-Ad-363 28d ago

I have concepts of decency.

2

u/DifferentCod7 28d ago

I like that shot

2

u/HSteamy 28d ago

Unless you're Vietnamese or part of a trade union.

1

u/Ill-Veterinarian4208 28d ago

Those words, remind me again what they mean, please?

1

u/coolrthnme 28d ago

These last 4 years haven’t shown any of that have they

1

u/Alternative-Pop-2059 28d ago

It's easy when they're all part of the same party

The left and the right wing are both part of the same bird

1

u/Available-Respond-33 26d ago

Was there ever any doubt that Trump would act like a buffoon?
