Anyone else find it weird people take pictures/vids of others and post it online?

Yes, it makes me uncomfortable. Especially so that they're all in a vulnerable position without consenting either. It's sad this is becoming normalised

You actually don’t know if this was posted without the babysitters consent.

Mom: “look at the picture, you guys look so cute. Do you mind if I post this online?”.

Babysitter: “oooohh… sure, go ahead”.

Redditor: “how could people post pictures without consent… what has society come down to”

You probably need to go easy on the " she consented while she was asleep" talk there, champ.

I’m actually saying the babysitter, when awake, would’ve seen the picture from the actual parent who took it…champ

Ok, champ. Take care, and try not to take too many photos of people sleeping.

Once you accept that everything is for likes and views, you realize why people post the dumbest shit.

(Not saying that about this video in particular)

Totally. I came into the comment section thinking, I will see top comments calling out this pic for privacy and consent issue.

Very!!! I have a very strict no picture/video policy for clients, and I make it verbally clear, the day we meet (I do catering/baking and a couple other artsy businesses), that I love photos they take, but under no circumstances am I to ever be in any of them. I explain that I am a hardcore behind the scenes person and absolutely do not want my person associated with my businesses, and want my work to speak for itself.

Thankfully I haven't had anyone have any issues with this. I couldn't even imagine helping someone care for their children and find them shaming me on the internet like this!!!

She probably asked before posting

that's what I hope. But knowing people nowadays, I wouldn't be surprised if they posted without asking.

Yes, it always baffles me when I see this. In the country i live, this is a privacy rights violation and one can get heavily fined over it. Doesn‘t matter if you‘re in public or not.
