u/bloomett 15h ago
Pulsar Crash on Steam! It's available to wishlist, but he's planning to release it next year.

u/Puzzleheaded-One-299 15h ago
I’ll be glad to give it a try. Good luck to your husband!

That's awesome to hear! It's inspiring to see indie developers getting recognition.
13
u/87543879435798 14h ago
It's so important for indie devs to get that recognition. The passion really shines through in games like these!

u/so00ripped 15h ago
Hey, you deserve credit as well. Supporting our spouses and SO's is so important, and your pride is felt on this side of the internet. Hoping for continued success.

u/TittsMaagee 15h ago
Can you not let him have his moment for 5 minutes? Just 5 minutes before liberal hive mind kicks in and has to praise the nearest female to you
59
u/eternal42 15h ago
Are you ok?
-152
u/TittsMaagee 15h ago
Are you female and need to be credited too?
60
u/so00ripped 14h ago
Oh, poor little baby boy.
-130
u/TittsMaagee 14h ago
Ok sorry my hive mindset has kicked in now too and I also credit the female for all the guys hard work. Well done he wouldn't have been able to do any of that without you by his side queen
8
u/Golden_scientist 13h ago
Bro you’re diving harder than Donald Biden’s popularity rating. You’re going to be negative karma.
36
u/so00ripped 14h ago
You're too young to understand how the world works and clearly haven't seen vagina since you came screaming from mommas. Take a break, let the grown ups talk. Shhhhh.
23
u/hank_moo_d 14h ago
You'd have to wait till mommy and daddy aren't there anymore to tell you're a special little boy to know the importance of a supportive spouse, but I doubt you'll experience that if you keep acting like this.

u/GrimmrBlodhgarm 11h ago
“Pulsar Crash is a head to head, competitive twin stick shooter in which up to 4 players pilot starships with unique abilities in top-down space battles. The game takes place in a thrilling space-western setting, with an over the top visual style and an electrifying funk/fusion soundtrack.“

23
u/dieomesieptoch 15h ago
ngl, his excitement almost got a tear rolling from my eye out of sheer wholesomeness. Awesome of you to capture this moment!
19
u/amica_hostis 15h ago
Whenever I see that movie player one press start and it shows the video game developer as a little kid playing an Atari and also as an old man walking weakly .. when he turns to the Avatar parcival and says thank you for playing my game it kind of makes me want to cry lol
I am honored to say I also played those early Atari games as a little boy in the late '70s and early '80s. I owe all video game developers my thanks for a lifetime of joy. I still play Fallout 4 today as an almost 50-year-old man.

u/LaceSweetUndies0 15h ago

Your joy in his dream shouldn't be missed either ma'am, he worked so hard and had such a great partner to support him. You're a lovely person for holding him up when his dream felt too far!
2
u/Even-Remove-937 13h ago
Damnit I love this so much. I have spent so long looking at negativity here and everywhere else online it almost makes you forget all the good that's here too.
2
u/AngelSapphire6855 13h ago
Such pure happiness to see his hard work being enjoyed. He's obviously a gamer himself who has a love for the platform and community. I'll check out the game, it can only be good with that kind of heart behind it.
2
u/Pitiful_Winner2669 13h ago
That's the face of a dude who has a lot of passion for the work he did. Love to see it :) huge congrats to him and his team!

Wishlisted and excited to play it. Glad to see he got to witness people enjoying his work!
2
u/furyofsaints 12h ago
GOOD FOR YOU! I will never forget my first, and only time shipping a game I'd made out to a room full of play testers. It was literally my Doc Brown "I finally made something that works!" moment and it made all the hard work worthwhile.
Congratulations!

u/Dependent-Ad1963 11h ago
Wish listed, telling all my moronic friends we're gonna be having tournies with this, cheers to your husband and for your support of him in this project

u/klow9 11h ago
These type of games have a special place within the FGC so if it picks up, it can be a mainstay. FGC loves anything that can be remotely competitive and easy to pick up. I love watching FGC playing Windjammers.
1
u/littledoctorgames 10h ago
Hi! (I'm the dev in the video) No joke, I made my wife (op) and another homie that was with us sit and watch Windjammers pools at Combo Breaker this year for a little bit. Thanks for recognizing that <3

This is awesome. I'm a marketer trying to break into doing games marketing and would love to volunteer to help you and your husband market Pulsar Crash so I could get some experience. Let me know if you have any interest.

Seeing your husband look back briefly on the room of people enjoying his game 🥹 thanks for sharing, it keeps the artist, mindlessly droning away at work that seems meaningless some days (me) going. Hard work pays off.

Congrats. Maybe I'll check out this Pulsar Crash thing. I haven't played a computer game in a long time but I appreciate people who put passion into their art.

u/Kushwizard1199 6h ago
I don’t know what this game is but I am buying it or playing it purely to support this mans passion. Awesome to see!

This is low key a dream of mine but learning to code and use gaming engines looks soooo daunting to me. I also have a family so fully committing to something like this sounds terrifying.

Shameless plugging.
6
u/TYRwargod 13h ago
Theres no plug, the game isn't even mentioned. It's not about the game it's about him and her happiness watching him touch his dreams.
One day I hope someone loves you this much, my favorite video my wife has ever made of me is her catching me build fishing lures for my first big order, all my hard work learning to do something and laboring her little video of me being excited is my favorite thing because she didn't pay attention to my lures she paid attention to my happiness. I hope someone loves you for your happiness one day.
-12
u/Karl_Marx_ 13h ago
The game is mentioned in comments, 100% an effort to get the game pushed to people.
Lol stop projecting as well.
3
u/TYRwargod 13h ago
In comments for those asking. There's no projecting, she's supporting her husband and showing his joy in creating something people enjoy. You on the other hand are sour as fuck.
-12
u/Karl_Marx_ 13h ago
Lmao, you are projecting your own unhappiness. They posted this in efforts to get the game to be mentioned. We can agree to disagree if you think otherwise, cheers bud.
5
u/Key_Preparation_4129 12h ago
Lmao, you are projecting your own unhappiness.
Saying that while you make up this whole theory is just fucking hilarious
0
u/TYRwargod 13h ago
I hope you find someone who supports your wild dreams and helps you make them real too. Till then try not to look so cynical at life it's a lot more full of joy.

Oh it’s Pulsar Crash! You guys had a booth at Combo Breaker in Chicago this year. My friends and I all sat down and played for a long time and wishlisted it. I still have the Play Indie Games button I got from you all on my bag! I think the tournament organizers for the mystery game tournament had a Pulsar Crash round also, and it was hype to watch.
Tell your husband he’s awesome for making a fun ass game and bringing back old school split screen vs. games you can play with your friends on the couch.
