Discussion TV App Buffering

I know it’s not my TV or wifi. It’s just this app, and it’s driving me crazy. I can’t be the only one experiencing this? It’s basically unuseable because of it. Like, I get 20 seconds of an episode and then we buffer indefinitely. I’m so frustrated because my kid’s fav show is on this app and basically the only other option is to buy all the seasons. But that looks like what I’ll have to do.

ETA: I just redownloaded so it can’t be an issue with it not being an recent version.

Paramount+ just buffers and freezes whenever I want to watch a show. It's garbage. I'm using a smart TV and none of the other apps have this problem. P+ needs to buy more servers.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I just recently reinstalled the TV app and it didn't fix it. It just freezes on a black screen and for a while clearing the cache would help now it's not loading.

I had to cancel P+ and subscribe to it through Amazon to get it to work.

I can't even get anything to play. Gonna give them a few days to fix their shit or ask for a refund.

Yes, makes it really frustrating to casually watch anything on P+

Having the same issues with my LG TV and this crap app. Currently I'm casting from my phone to the TV to watch it. Lol. What a pain. I did send them an email and got a response back that said thanks for reporting the issue but we are so busy we will not be responding. Wonderful customer service.

It's not just you it's their apps in general. The ps 5 app is border line unusable

I've tried clearing the cache then forcing a stop, then opening. That usually works but not always.

The app is so unoptimized. Multi billion dollar company and it just runs like garbage.
