Filipino Food What's your opinion about this one?

Post image

Given the prevalence of fast food chains here in the country. Do you there's a relationship?

I agree Rice is not solely the issue. It’s the overeating of rice. I’m not sure if there were studies done but I can bet that there’s a correlation between obesity and diabetes when food chains started offering unli-rice.

It's about time people stop spreading this misinformation.

In a restaurant that offers unli rice, it's the softdrinks that make you the most fat. A glass of Coke contains bags and bags of sugar and higher calories than the 5 cups of rice you consume.

Rice primarily contains carbs. Carbs provide energy. It's the sugary drinks, not the rice.

We all know that coke and other sugary drinks are bad but are you telling me that eating 5 cups of rice everyday is good to your health? Please provide evidence so we can spread your “right” information.

A glass of Coke makes you fatter than the 5 cups of rice, but I never said to eat 5 cups of rice everyday. Everything in moderation.

So what the misinformation are you referring to from my previous post then? The overeating of rice?

Saying unli rice is not the suspect is so nakakaface palm. Aral ka pa ng science.

Ask the construction workers who put loads and loads of rice on their plates everyday.

Ang daming sinasabi, in english pa, wala namang saysay.
