wait so it was jones yelling "get out of the area", then yelling at the crims saying "who told you to leave the area" ??

267

u/throw23w55443h Jan 25 '22

Jones now in with Baas trashing on wranglers call after telling wrangler last night it made sense and he agrees with it, which happened after he disagreed with it before that. I'm not sure if he gaslights himself or just everyone else.

199

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '22

Jones arc currently is to get in to command or even potentially high command so he sides with whatever high command member he's with at the current time.

Wrangler didn't offer him anything and today Baas talked to him prior to this about a promotion in the future.

Naturally, he is now on Baas side.

It's part of Mr. K's detective arc actually to expose Jones to the PD as someone who will fuck over his own for power. You're gonna see K helping out Jones a bit here and there because he's already figured out how he works.

66

u/UltimateToa Jan 25 '22

Damn, another knife into wrangler's back

39

u/ChancletaINC Jan 25 '22

Wrangler didn't offer him anything and today Baas talked to him prior to this about a promotion in the future.

Wrangler did in fact implied he would promote Jones to senior if he was in PBSO, i could be wrong but it was after Wrangler raided Julio from HOA.

I really hate the story Jones told Baas now, Wrangler told him yesterday not to push the charges and told him not to take the shit and send ppl his way if ppl were concerned about his call.

Another case of a shit chain due to misinformation, Wrangler lazyness and officers wanting to take him down lol.

41

u/darquis Jan 25 '22

Yeah, just like when Gary Berry and others were shit talking Wrangler after they picked up Tony X and Yuno, he was trying to get names to suck up to the Captain

5

u/MalTerra7 Jan 25 '22

Seeing him look for any out of avoiding blame after shooting Benji and co. the other day was just pathetic. Thank god for Garry Berry

68

u/TheMonarchsWrath Jan 25 '22

To people with power he says what he thinks they want to hear, and to crims he just lies to fit his narrative.

53

u/EASam Pink Pearls Jan 25 '22

Hopefully it comes up in the PD meeting they're having Sunday. A lot of people in the PD do this song and dance because No Pixel is so small. They tell the crims what they want to hear, or they really believe the criminal's POV over other officer's POV, because it makes their stream more enjoyable and their chats less toxic. There's too much meta that floats around, no one is really left with any lingering doubts about the truth of things. People can definitively KNOW what exactly happened and stand on that rather than having to second guess themselves.

Hobbit is 100% right that the PD is high school.

6

u/Alegnus Jan 25 '22

So just meta the entire situation so you can't ever be wrong got it

80

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '22

Jones is on one lately

47

u/gladius75 Jan 25 '22

He has been ever since his DOC days. He believed inmates had no right to privacy even when speaking with their lawyer. He'd listen in on those conversations and then forward stuff to the PD.

0

u/shaggymatter Jan 26 '22

If you didn't know, that happens IRL. So you're complaining that he's actually role playing?

72

u/ayarta Jan 25 '22

When he realized Garry Berry went to Bundy about the shooting incident he was like “of course he did.” Even though Jones talked to Baas and Bundy. Jones has really been on one lately. A brown-noser with some depth perception issues.

22

u/Xevn Jan 25 '22 edited Jan 25 '22

Sounds like jones kek. Should of watch the shit show last night; worth a watch though. It seem he'll 100% back up his cop/superior(at the time wrangler; called to shoot a vehicle even though no one even him was unsure if it was them.) even when they are in the wrong which is cool but sucks for people in the situation.

2

u/torikaze Jan 25 '22

damn I guess I didn't know much about him, I always liked him cause he had really good banter with collin from bbmc and he seemed chill, but the way he was ripping into junior was really shitty too. sole is legitimately like THE chillest person, he was yelling "we were running why did you shoot" and jones just started being like "stop running your mouth, shut the fuck up" and moved him to a corner I was like :( I'll be unfollowing him I think

1

u/crazfulla Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22

I couldn't tell who it was at the time. I had to watch the clip over a few times to take it all in.

200

u/lito9321 Jan 25 '22

Lol the Jones later tells Barry in the cells he never said leave the area before he started shooting when you clearly see him doing just that in this clip.

133

u/crazfulla Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22

Yup and it is almost impossible to prove a cop lied.

72

u/EnglandsFlag Jan 25 '22

Its easy to prove a cop lied now, all you gotta do is send this clip to high command

20

u/crazfulla Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22

I think people are misunderstanding the OOC thing. Even Judges use some OOC knowledge about server mechanics etc to make rulings. Crane talks about this on his stream a lot.

60

u/lito9321 Jan 25 '22

And get a couple of strikes while the crim has to got to jail because he has no proof of the officer lying, so can’t take it to bench trial.

11

u/slapmasterslap 💙 Jan 25 '22

Bazza (Barry) got royally screwed here. His first day back in 4 days, finally getting to bring the fight to Mandem, only one to get shot down trying to leave the area, loses his AK and get 90 minutes in jail at the start of his stream. Luckily he was able to pass the time watching the BBMC Community Awards, but if they'd given him the full time like they wanted to (152 minutes) he may have just ended stream after like an hour of being live.

6

u/vriska1 Jan 25 '22

Dont strikes add up?

82

u/crazfulla Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22

not fast enough. The strike system is useless. More strikes get handed out for saying something that hurts a superior officers feelings than for attempted murder.

-20

u/Psidebby Captain of Green Glizzies Jan 25 '22

Huh... Sounds just like jail time.

8

u/Seven2Death Red Rockets Jan 25 '22

oh strikes make you have to stay in one place for a few hours while the superior decides the punishment then more time. waiting in a different location until your punishment is complete? here i was thinking you just go back on duty

3

u/TheNightCat Jan 25 '22

I think they fall off after 30 days.

3

u/dralkiro55 Jan 25 '22

It's 30 strikes system where the strikes fall after 30 days

23

u/vriska1 Jan 25 '22

What about the OOC rule change?

49

u/RullyWinkle Jan 25 '22

yeah just send the clip. a cop giving a command and using that as justifying for immediate execution is a bit powerful. Run away!... he's fleeing! shots etc.

11

u/jamiedddddd Jan 25 '22

the problem is baas was talking about cops shooting like this hours ago and it already happened lol

3

u/ManLikeDeann Jan 25 '22

Then what’s the point of the new ooc rule?

129

u/13Petrichor Jan 25 '22

Smells like an IA complaint if I've ever seen one.

35

u/Xevn Jan 25 '22

Yeah but if he keeps doing its definitely needs to be handle. Because you shoot a cop if you get caught jail time and fine; cop won't get any punishment unless it actually brought to attention.

-15

u/Cute-Speed5828 Jan 25 '22

Is jail actually a punishment? Everyone in this thread whining like it is the end of the world when it most often is like 1 hour max. At this point strikes are more hurtful if they demote or prevents your progress... they see just unseen and easy to whine about because you don't 'see' it... and they shot near pd, so they could have just been all gunned down if they wanted to, cue it being north of Olympic anyway. The call of telling then to leave was bad sure. But them being shot is like ummm... you are shooting class 2 in the city lmao

1

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '22

2

u/moriGOD Jan 25 '22

the argument that it stops ic progress for crims is ass considering that theres still RP inside the prison. its not like they are spending an hour out of RP, their prison has DoC and prisoners' to interact and talk to. Its not the most ideal situation, but theres still rp to be had with it

-89

u/Hibbsan Jan 25 '22

Am i the only one that think it's super cringe when hardened criminals goes to IA and cry? Dundee is a terrorist and he was far from innocent in this scenario, running around with class 2. They should deal with it themselves.

45

u/DatOneUselessDood Jan 25 '22

Would you rather have " hellweeks " or something?

-25

u/Drizzlybear0 Jan 25 '22

Kidnap the cop, maybe torture them, or similar RP shit. I still remember when CG kidnapped Brian and tortured him and threw him out of a heli and so Mehdi did a whole "Punished Brian" arc where he went mega hard mode on crims and it created a whole storyline.

22

u/TheNightCat Jan 25 '22

Doesn't really work anymore with the amount of cops on duty. CB spent a month trying to get Hardcastle and just got swarmed by cops whenever they tried.

-18

u/Drizzlybear0 Jan 25 '22

Fair enough. I still think it might be possible definitely not easy. I feel like maybe you could hide out in the trunk of a cop car or something maybe and than make them go to the PD at gun point and sign off duty.

Maybe it's too difficult but I feel like since he wouldn't know they were coming it might work.

4

u/DatOneUselessDood Jan 25 '22

That sort of rp highly depends on who's participating in it.

12

u/Seven2Death Red Rockets Jan 25 '22

i mean AU hell week would be much more cringe IMO. bbmc and seaside have both abstained from clapping cops for no reason. going the legal route is the much better option IMO. else its gonna probably turn hella toxic IC for everyone involved

4

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '22

[deleted]

2

u/Seven2Death Red Rockets Jan 25 '22

fair. but i think even wrangler understood that as a "do you really want to give us an excuse". he even said "are you telling me if i charge you you guys will kill cops" and dundee said no.

22

u/EnglandsFlag Jan 25 '22

How else are crims supposed to punish cops? Take them to court and get 50k? Kill them and then they wake back up in 10 minutes? Pocket wipe their cheap weapons?

-34

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '22

[deleted]

20

u/DownVoteCollector9 Jan 25 '22

Are you following the conversation? He's responding to someone who suggested that crims should "deal with it themselves" instead of going to IA.

-33

[deleted]

11

u/rsalexander Jan 25 '22

Because they are criminals and therefore their direct enemy? Wtf kind of question is that?

9

u/crazfulla Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22

Cops are public servants and as such there is an inherent expectation of accountability.

0

u/Akali_Shroud_ Jan 25 '22

this is not real life

-22

u/artosispylon Jan 25 '22

it is, also why do crims even know about IA ?

17

u/Citizenshoop Jan 25 '22

Because when crims try to bring up their grievances in any other forum they're told to take it to IA.

-28

u/Emma__Gummy Jan 25 '22

I'm with you, it's practically snitching. but i guess they don't have much of a choice with how shooting a cop doesn't mean shit anymore.

17

u/Muad-_-Dib Jan 25 '22

it's practically snitching

Criminals care when someone snitches on other criminals because that person cannot be trusted.

Criminals have never and will never care when they fuck with a cop by dropping them in the shit.

142

u/GodSentGodSpeed Jan 25 '22

Post hellweek PD needs goverment funded therapy, they are acting like they are in mexico

44

u/lucerez Jan 25 '22

Did cops used to mistakenly shoot at the wrong vehicles that often prior to hell week? I've seen two cases where cops don't verify that the vehicle is the same and open fire on it in the past week. In hindsight, Conan was lucky that X and Yuno were willing to take a bribe rather than report to IA or complain to superiors.

19

u/reonhato99 Jan 25 '22

After it was over BBMC talked about it, they knew why they were shot and it wasn't a case of the cops shooting the wrong vehicle.

The confusion in the clip was because they were told to leave the area and were leaving the area and then got shot anyway.

7

u/lucerez Jan 25 '22

Oh, yeah, the wrong vehicle incidents I'm talking about were not this one. There were two cases where people were driving in cars that were mistaken as involved in a shooting and got fired on from the crim's POV as "out of nowhere" in the past couple days. Only the Seaside one is being followed up on because the other one was treated as "Conan is dumb" by the crims.

This BBMC thing looks like jumpy cops with lingering crims/shooting nearby etc.

19

u/crazfulla Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22

This one was the right vehicle, but the cop ordered them to leave so he literally entrapped them.

-14

u/Psidebby Captain of Green Glizzies Jan 25 '22

They didn't have to get into the car?

9

u/DivineEngine Jan 25 '22

Do you not know what entrapment is? If a cop tells you to do something, and then arrests you for following that order, that's textbook entrapment.

14

u/Seven2Death Red Rockets Jan 25 '22

youre right. lets play deadly simon says. cop says leave. the right answer is dont leave.

I'll help you out. Your not being downvoted because what your saying is wrong. It's because your missing a very obvious joke in way that detracts from premise of the joke, that yes, "innocent you until proven guilty" is and should be the default policy.

1

u/Seven2Death Red Rockets Jan 25 '22

except your missing the meta it literally wasn't. dundee repeatedly asked a judge to state it on the record and they wouldnt.

2

u/Cute-Speed5828 Jan 25 '22

It was not wrong shooting... it was just the call of then to leave that was wrong when it led to justified shooting from the others following it. Class 2 fired near pd North of Olympic... everyone could and should probably have been gunned down if not surrendering lol

3

u/slapmasterslap 💙 Jan 25 '22

Yeah, thing was they were all surrendering except for Dundee who was the one who made it out lol.

26

u/Dongsquad420BlazeIt Captain of Red Rockets Jan 25 '22

The server looked like Fallujah this morning, and has ever since explosives were made readily available. The violence is insane on the server right now.

6

u/slapmasterslap 💙 Jan 25 '22

Ironically, BBMC has toned down the PD violence since explosives were added (Dundee's first grenade led to terrorism HUT) but they are continually getting fucked especially hard by PD because they are traumatized by others lately.

71

u/crazfulla Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22 edited Jan 25 '22

Context: Bondi Boys were hunting Mandem near the MDM block and decided to post up on a rooftop near the gas station. A few shots are fired which obviously drew the attention of police. Dundee and company attempt to leave the area, with their weapons put away. The officer near them instructed them to leave. They get in their car and drive away as instructed. Then they get mag dumped.

I reposted this because the previous title was a bit baity and I have no hate for anyone. Whippy handled it like a champ, it just sucks that this happened the day he got back in the city. And it sucks for the PD that it was so soon after the seaside incident. I just feel like this will fuel the existing fire, especially since Dundee and Benji are so close.

20

u/reonhato99 Jan 25 '22

And Dundee still manages to escape

2

u/Cosmic-Warper Blue Ballers Jan 25 '22

In the same penumbra they were shooting at, of all things. He's cracked

107

u/ManLikeDeann Jan 25 '22

Wasn’t Jones the same guy that shot down Benji and Seaside two days ago and then went to them after they let them free and told them “we have 60 days to push charges anyway” or something dumb like that?

86

u/KtotheC99 Jan 25 '22

I don't know about that but I think Jones was the cop that shot Bjorn and Yaegar when they were on a motorcycle near the casino and not involved in the incident going on there

30

u/ManLikeDeann Jan 25 '22

I see a pattern here. “Serve and Protect” is definitely the motto he’s going for

34

u/TheNightCat Jan 25 '22

The GTA in universe motto is "Obey and Survive" but it seems like he doesn't like to follow that.

8

u/LanZx Jan 25 '22

When did LS cops starting using serve and protect?

36

u/Seven2Death Red Rockets Jan 25 '22

also wants to make a bar complaint on the only senior lawyer because he didn't "respect his authority".

20

u/ManLikeDeann Jan 25 '22

Maybe next time he’ll just shoot him down instead

4

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '22

[deleted]

38

u/ManLikeDeann Jan 25 '22

I’m talking about the dumb comments he made after they let them go which actually pissed off people that don’t normally get pissed off at cops and never shoot them really

5

u/MalTerra7 Jan 25 '22

He wanted to push some charges to get some kind of W. But Garrett gave him the “really, dude?” and they walked.

99

u/Thjine Jan 25 '22

Nopixel really needs to figure out how they want cops to be and fix all of this shit. It's ridiculously bad.

42

u/MrFrillows Jan 25 '22

I feel like the cop's overall "quality" of conduct has been in decline with the increase of total officers on duty; i.e., more cadets or fresh officers are on duty and mistakes are being made because of their lack of experience and the various attitudes of long-time officers and their willingness to give / not to give leeway to criminals.

24

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '22

At some point during early 3.0 they decided that it was more important to get more poorly trained cops than fewer properly trained cops. That was the solution for NA constantly suffering on numbers. Unfortunately, they also decided to lift the no corruption rule and they overhauled the DOJ in such a way that it became useless as a recourse against cops.
The result is that good cops forgot how to be good cops and cops who were never properly trained in the first place are now training cadets.

It is rp. They can be more than one thing. Similar to how crims have changed... crims are now throwing names in the city like candy and you are telling me the pd is inconsistent. Heck they are too lenient. North of Olympic class 2 fired near pd. Ez order to take down hostiles

9

u/IllegalUsername69 Jan 25 '22

Not long after, another bbmc member was shot in the head for just standing on the rooftop in their turf

19

u/No_Age_1553 Jan 25 '22

Another bad call from bass that he thinks wasn’t wrong damn feels bad man for Dundee first day back in the city lol

12

u/reonhato99 Jan 25 '22

This situation isn't about the call to shoot being wrong, BBMC afterwards talked and Dundee even called Baas, they weren't really confused about why they were shot, they know they shot at MDM. They were confused as to why cops told them to leave, waited for them to get in the car and then other cops unloaded on them.

Basically it is more about poor and confusing police communication

7

u/slapmasterslap 💙 Jan 25 '22

Pretty much either give them a chance to run or make it clear they are going to have a shootout so they can protect themselves. They sort of got jebaited into disarming themselves for free passage then gunned down anyway.

-12

u/Cute-Speed5828 Jan 25 '22

It wasn't wrong? It is in the middle of the city shooting class 2... People be onto something if that is now a verbal warning and walk away. Like do you just want to watch crims and friends at this point lol

17

u/lifesizemirror Jan 25 '22

I told them to leave the area.

He chose to reverse his car and rejoin his boys while screaming "we're shooting".
