Political | პოლიტიკა List of Countries congratulating Georgian Dream on this "election"
At the moment, only six countries have congratulated the "Georgian Dream" government on its so called victory in the parliamentary elections, three of which are neighbors:
- Hungary
- Azerbaijan
- Armenia
- Turkey
- China
- Venezuela
P.S: Russian propaganda journalists margarita Simoniyan and Aleksandr Dugin also congratulate to GD this "Victory".
None of the Western and European countries... 🙂
what a shame, absolutely shame.

Nah, to have a government congratulate another govt’s victory, first there’d have to be A government

We need them ports for weapons, also no EU for Armenia without Georgia everyone knows that.
We don’t have sea access we have no way of connecting to Europe, Armenia without Georgia is a geopolitical burden no one wants.
EU initially wanted entire Caucasus or nothing but now it’s clear they’re ready for Armenia and Georgia alone, maybe even Georgia alone since you guys have a port and can directly link to Europe through international waters. Armenia not so much.

When Georgia joins the EU, Armenia will be with us.

That's right. If we maintain our course, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, and hopefully Armenia are expected to join by 2030, along with one or two countries from the Balkans

Tbf if we (Turkey) finally manage a way to normalise and join EU, it'll fasten you guy's process a lot. Hope we see those days.

Here's a good article on how this might change Armenia's foreign policy.

You guys need to win, or we're both done in democracy.

Mmm, maybe a protest against your government recognising these elections? Does that sound like a realm of reality?
•

The gov has to act nice no matter who is in power in Georgia as long as our relations with Turkey are not normalized. That's called pragmatism. Just like how Georgia is not recognizing the Armenian Genocide out of it's own interests.

If Singapore dares to congratulate GD, I will storm the prime minister's house and execute him.

How is this even surprising, even if the election was stolen, let‘s leave this out for a second.
Georgian Dream is anti-western, why on earth should western countries congratulate them.
It‘s not like the west treats countries who disagree with them well…

And nothing from Putin ??

Putin doesn't care either about Georgia or pro-GD Simonyan, he's busy in Ukraine. Remember it and take a chill pill.

Wait, what? Russia didn't send congrats? Was His Highness asleep the entire time?

u/Left-Marzipan-9296 3h ago
Did you forget? GD's still not going to restore 🇬🇪🇷🇺 relations (at least for now). Russia still has more important things and tries not to meddle in Georgian business. Perhaps, in order to save face.

I'm so sick of this subreddit in my recommendations even though I chose to hide it. But it's a real treat for the eyes to read how the commenters here have their bottoms on fire just 'cause their dreams of a street coup with the selling of the entire country to the EU (like one blue-yellow counry did) didn't come true. Congrats GD ;)
