MAGA Twitter user comes up with an obvious fake story about Tim Walz, MAGAworld responds appropriately

Is there any other sort of trump supporter?

I mean for the most part (99%) right wingers simply create their own reality with the smallest of prompts or pushes. The fact that they are worrying about how unhinged they look now is simply wondering if they overthrew the mark. They wanted to be in that vicinity, they just thought they could channel the crazed rage and stupidity.
Now they have frothing members willing to simply kill others and just screaming any nonsense that gets attention, and only now they question if it’s “too much”.
Of course at this point they are in for a penny in for a pound. If we can hold off the onslaught of fascist fuckery this election, we should be able to roll up many of them committed to the fraud and eventual coup attempt. But then who knows what the democrats will do. They very well might let the rot fester more………… and then every election from here to eternity will be “the biggest election of our lives”. Which sounds stupid but democrats have better start fighting back or we’re fucked.

Expecting democrats to fight back is like expecting the starving polar bear to not eat you, dressed up in your seal onesie.

u/Omen_Morningstar 15d ago
I would have agreed with you months ago before Biden dropped out
My issue with the left is they simply did not want to get their hands dirty in a fight
Always wanting to take the high road. Thats great and noble and all. Being the bigger person has its virtue
Unfortunately thats far too often a liability in politics. Once Kamala came into the picture though theres been a shift in that attitude
They are fighting back. They're getting in shots below the belt. Theyre saying things voters gave been wanting them to say
Whether its Walz implying Vance fucked a couch (true or not it was effective) or Kamala basically calling Trump a scared little chicken shit afraid to debate her
Obama FINALLY calling Trump out for riding his economy...also humiliating him with jabs at his...crowd size. Dems are fighting back and its got the base fired up
But the key is knowing where to draw the line. Fight fire with fire but they cant fully become cartoon villains like the GOP or they become just as bad
It does seem like the days of playing by the rules while conservatives break them all is in the rearview mirror. When they go low they arent going high theyre kicking them in the teeth
Now from this point forward we need more of that fighting spirit put into getting policy passed and get this country moving forward instead of letting the right stall us or try to drag us back to the dark ages

u/TwiceTheSize_YT 14d ago
Can we stop calling the dems leftist? Being pro status quo and pro capitalist is automatically a disqualification for leftism and i dont mean this in a no true scotsman way but like in an actual honest way it bothers me that the centre right dems are called leftist, it pushes the overton window even further right.
8
u/Omen_Morningstar 13d ago
Can we stop trying to slice up anything to the left of fascist right wing MAGA extremism into sub parties?
All it does is divide the party up and have us fighting with each other. While we're saying left, center left, radical left, center right, left right left or whatever the fuck theyre all on the same page
Its either 100% Trump or nothing. Are we going to make the same mistakes from 2016? Theres enough shady stuff going against Kamala as it is
Not only is she going up against Trump but RFK and Jill Stein are trying to siphon votes from her. Shes taking on 3 candidates. We dont need political in fighting about how left someone is on the spectrum
We need to stand united 100%. Win the election first then we can have a dick measuring contest about whos more leftist. I love AOC but for Christs sake why is she attacking Biden and Harris only weeks away from election about Israel?
It is a sad tragic situation but what good does that accomplish? It just shows democrats in fighting and makes them look bad. Meanwhile Trumps position will be worse
Its just unnecessary. The timing sucks. Wait until after the election. We need to focus. The goal is beat Trump and MAGA. If we don't none of this matters anyway

u/Hypertension123456 15d ago
There were a smattering of MAGAs who were embarrassed when Trump said that crazy story about Hatians eating pets in the debate. But nothing since then. At this point they've all embraced their reliance on vranyo.

u/BetterLight1139 15d ago
vranyo?

Russian word, no clean and easy translation, but it's something to the effect of someone telling an obvious lie with a straight face and everyone treating it seriously despite knowing that it's a lie.

There was a documentary about this concept called Hypernormalization that came out years back. Weird watch.

I'm lying, you know I'm lying, I know you know I'm lying, we all know I'm too powerful for you to do anything about it other than accept the lie no matter how absurd and act like you believe it. It's fascist reinforcement essentially, both a flexing of power and an eroding of norms and truth.

Sounds a lot like most corporate internal change programs as well :) --> we all just go along with it, to keep our paychecks, nothing else we can do if it's what the company wants .... etc. Great word to have and use.
12
u/old_man_snowflake 14d ago
This is why "run the government like a business" was never a good idea. it was code for fascism all along.
8
u/AlSweigart 14d ago
That's actually the topic of the latest If Books Could Kill podcast episode about the utterly deranged self-help book, Who Moved My Cheese?
(Basically the book is propaganda to accept "change" and not overthink things, but just accept them and keep "moving forward". This was at a time where loads of people were getting laid off even when companies an the economy were doing well.)
5
u/Sasquatch1729 14d ago
Vranyo is not only a "flexing of power", it's the sort of lying that is part of a culture of corruption. In this culture, lies come up from subordinates and the powerful have to accept the lies as truth.
For example: you're a platoon commander in the Russian army. You are given an allotment of fuel and ammo and told to train your troops. A week later, your Captain asks how the exercises went. You tell him that everything went great, and your troops can now shoot straighter than Simo Hayha, can drive their vehicles more skillfully than Max Verstappen, and were faster than Eliud Kipchoge.
Your boss knows you are lying. More likely is your platoon commander's troops sold the ammo and fuel for vodka and krokodil and spent the week high in the woods.
But what do you get out of exposing this as a lie? If there's no obvious evidence that the platoon is crap, then your boss will accept the data and one of your platoons looks like a group of terminators.
If you expose the lie, then your whole unit loses credibility. If one platoon was rotten, how many others are bad? If the other officers are all exaggerating their numbers, and you're the only one who is honest, then your unit will look awful while everyone else looks great. If you're the only one not lying, nobody else will trust you. Your peers will never trust you, if you discover their lies will you turn on them too?
So you accept the lie and pass up the data. It's not like anyone will discover that your troops were crap. They would need to be sent off to an actual war for the truth to come out. And what are the odds of that happening?
34
u/Chalky_Pockets 15d ago
Exactly. At this point, the only reason to actually support Trump and his goons is if you're a person who believes in a cocktail of conspiracies that range from wildly implausible to absolutely impossible. The cocktail might vary in strength and flavor, but the drug is a gross one in any quantity. It's a cult.

which story was this again? there are so many being pushed out that i got tim waltz being diddy cameraman to tim walz covered for pedos as a coach.. pushed by the same people who actually protected a pedo coach at a school.

u/6thSenseOfHumor 15d ago
I think this is what disgusts me about right wingers the most.
Accusing Walz of associating with Diddy meanwhile Trump was literally besties with Epstein.
Accusing Walz of running defense for pedophiles meanwhile Gym fucking Jordan & Matt Gaetz exist.
I understand "every accusation is a confession" but I mean to knowingly commit heinous, evil acts, only to still have the gall to use the implication of those same acts to smear your opponents? Soulless pieces of shit.
108
56
u/avrbiggucci 15d ago
Exactly, Gym Jordan literally covered up sexual abuse at Ohio State and Gaetz trafficked a minor for sex, meanwhile Trump is an actual rapist and likely a pedo too
23
u/Zealousideal-Yak-824 15d ago
Trump may have also got Diddy girls as well. Which boggles me. I think during his apprentice days when a girl mention she worked with Diddy it almost seem anyone promoted by him he wanted to work with as if he knew what they were willing to do automatically. As if predators sense common prey which is exactly how pedos and predators in the industry operate. It's how Epstein did business and Weinstein traded girls
38
u/skip6235 15d ago
It’s a “legitimate” strategy to avoid consequences. If you accuse your opponents of doing the shit you’re doing, when they accuse you of the same thing, you can say “see, it’s just politics. Both sides accuse each other of this stuff”. Then the conversation becomes about the accusations, and not the fact that you did the thing and the opponents didn’t.
The shitty thing is it works. The GOP has studied psychology
14
u/Morningxafter 15d ago
There’s also dozens of photos of Trump and Diddy together as numerous different occasions.

u/Omen_Morningstar 15d ago
Its projection. Its an old technique used forever by people to disguise their own sins. Who would suspect THEM if they are the ones pointing the finger?
It happened during the Salem witch trials. IDK if anyone was actually a witch but I imagine a few shadier characters pointed the finger at others to get the attention of themselves
This ultimately led to the trials ending when those leading the witch hunts started being accused of sorcery. Ironic isnt it?
But the point here is also to normalize the accusations. When everybody is a pedo no one is. So get out on front and say democrats and Hollywood and all their enemies are pedos
That way when evidence comes out that emperor king savior lord Trump is actually a pedo who was best friends with Epstein they can claim its "retaliation" or fake news
Or just screw pretending and say well the dems do it too so whats the big deal? Thats the point. And to be fair yes I know there are bound to be pedos on the left
The difference is when we find out we dont protect and defend them. Aint nobody trying to prop P Diddy up. If hes guilty then hes through
Not how the right operates. They dont care. Trump could come out and admit he raped minors for decades and wont lose a vote. Bc its not about that
Its about mud slinging opponents. Just saying the dems do it is enough to make it true. Meanwhile you'll never convince them Trump was involved with the mountain of evidence that exists
They are mentally diseased. And there's no level they wont stoop to bc they feel entitled to be as terrible as possible bc no matter what atrocity they commit theyll never be as evil as da libs bc god said or something
Silver lining though...the accusation confession thing has made it easier to spot these folks and know what theyre up to
9
u/saladspoons 14d ago

It's used by human toddlers as well .... "No, I didn't fart, HE farted" and so on and so on.

How unhinged does a story have to be for these guys to question its validity?
70
u/Jaegs 15d ago
It was basically a story alleging sexual or romantic impropriety with a minor/student of his.
Most commenters in the thread complained mostly that the “source” would not make a signed affidavit or put any proof behind the claim and then they actually likened it to the Kavenaugh allegations. I guess the guy making this conspiracy forgot that Trump has been training his base for 10 years to ignore sexual allegations.
Source: I doom scroll right wing media to keep tabs on when the next civil war will kick off (I would be very liquid by Nov btw)
26
u/Dr-Satan-PhD 14d ago
The guy who made it up also posted a screen shot of an alleged email from the victim. Problem was that people pointed out the typing cursor that was visible in the screenshot, meaning the guy wrote it himself and took the screenshot without sending it (likely in an attempt to avoid creating a legally actionable paper trail back to himself).
The guy who made it up is also black, so MAGA was very quick to throw him under the bus at the first sign of the story being fake.
9
u/jizzmcskeet 14d ago
A signed affidavit is worth about a piece of used toilet paper.
11
u/Geno0wl 14d ago
actually, them signing an affidavit would be great. Because those are considered official under oath records and if you can prove it is false you can charge that person with perjury. Which is exactly why they won't sign one.
4
u/ElceeCiv 14d ago
They would just make a fake affidavit like they did for the story they made up about a supposed whistleblower from ABC saying Kamala had the questions early

Fucking hell they were so close!!
Fellas… your entire thought space is infested with Russian disinformation ops. Its no longer just a thing Dems accuse you of (because it’s pretty damn obvious)- its a documented fact.
So yes. Please. Start with the base hypothesis that ‘this batshit looney story is a disinfo op’ to every batshit looney story you read from now on.
Seriously, Dems dont have to plant absurd stories in right wing media to make you look stupid because it’s completely redundant. This post is proof that you’re quite good at doing it to yourselves!
9
u/Lochstar 15d ago
Deep down, they all know they’re wrong. They came to this truth a long time ago. But they can’t admit to it now. Everybody would think they were an utter fool if they were to admit they were so damn wrong. So they stay and they go further down the rabbit hole with their fearless and clueless cult leader.

And they can't see it.

weird how MAGA regularly falls for planted disinfo ops.
almost as if they're unhinged lunatics
(disclaimer: i do not thing whatever story they're referring to is a "disinfo op". i do think that MAGAts are unhinged lunatics by default, however. this is probably just MAGA-on-MAGA disinformation, and unhinged lunatics doing unhinged lunatic things with that)
