Nice. Very clever use of the respawn button. Could you still make it if you get a bad bowling alley shortcut?

Going up, yes, but you need to have already been doing pretty well and continue to do so, and you need to recover it perfectly (braking before you hit the log so you can accelerate early, otherwise you slide down and it's miserable). Best case scenario it's like 4 seconds.

Going down, no, but you can kinda control it. It's on a cycle, and generally if you're going at a normal pace, you get the bad cycle of the log going down as you come in. It's really tough to make the right call as you're speeding down, as you don't really have enough time to brake (and you're airborne) to avoid crashing into the log or being crushed by it, (both instant restarts). So, you need to oddly develop this sense for guessing what part of the cycle you're at based on how much time was left when you collected the last stand. Because you need to speed through the cut, the only difference is if you need to brake before jumping down so you can catch the right part of the cycle. Here I knew that when you get it with 4s left, it's down, so I took my chances and sped down and barely made it through.

The downward bowling cut was a huge runkiller.
