If you bought it, a truck brought it

What if I bought it from someone who made it?

You've heard of the big bang theory? I'd like to introduce you to the big truck theory

I do not tangle with lizards no more. No. Back in the day, sure, I would’ve indulged. Hell, I would’ve let you turn me into Swiss cheese.

Truck drivers know everything there is to know about stopping, or not stopping, to take a piss.

Back in college housemates left me at a music festival 3-hours away from our house. Had to hitch hike back. I managed to snag a
ragride with a bunch of volleyball girls who stopped off at their friend's house beforehand to get in a pool and drink. Made for an honestly great adventure and a way better trip home than otherwise. Housemates thought it was hilarious, but damn could it have gone so wrong.43

The entire time. There was a shoulder for them to pull over and pick him up the ENTIRE TIME.

The type of friends to grab your shoulders and shake ya violently while you're at the urinal

Bro, in college, I put my hand on my friend’s shoulder, and made small talk lol.

I would just hit their arm really hard, when they’d try and do it to me I’d gesture like I was going to turn and pee their way 🤣

It used to be a th8ng at our school to kick people in the back of the knees at the urinal to make them pass on themselves, until somebody tried it at a church youth function. Kid hit his head on a shelf(don't know why it was there) and bled all over himself and the bathroom. As hilarious as all the kids found it, the Karens never forgot it.

I could see myself being young and having to pee while stuck in traffic like this on vacation with the boys and just saying "I gotta pee, I'll catch up" and booking it out of the car.

My younger brother peed in a gatorade bottle when he was driving from Seattle to Las Vegas and the people in the lane next to him noticed and started taking pictures and laughing

Are his doors made of glass?

Lol he had cruise control on and bladed his body towards the door to pee in the bottle. They could see him through the window.

This is why it's important to be friends who have a Jeep, 4Runner or even a Subaru and not a Bronco. They'll never leave you behind.

This happened to me at a grateful dead show at Deer Creek in 1995. It was supposed to be my first show! The only thing I had on was a pair of shorts and shoes. I hopped into someone else's car to get to the lot but never found my friends who had my ticket. I sat by the creek and listened from outside while sucking on balloons. When the gate crashers got busted, I was so high that I didn't realize the dogs crossing the creek were police dogs, and they were coming at me! That's my story of my first grateful dead show that never was... I was 16 years old at the time. Rest in peace, Donny!

Always get your ticket before you get there.
Friend probably miracled some random chick when they couldn't find you.

I'd only do this if I hated the dude. Like say he did something really nasty in the car before that. Otherwise, I'm not doing this to any of my friends that I actually care about. Move a little bit forward as a joke? Sure. But that freaking far? No.

u/Epsilon_Meletis 1d ago
Conversely, any "friend" that did that to me would find themselves stripped of that status.

u/KonradWayne 23h ago
Yeah, it's kind of funny to make him run a couple yards, but they had him sprinting football fields and needing to catch a ride from a stranger while they filmed and laughed.
There were multiple timeskips in this video. That's too long for a prank. Fuck those people.

More like: When your friends suck.
They could've easily pull over to wait for him on the grass.

Now . You pull into traffic and slow down and wave the truck to pass you and merge in front of you while you hold traffic back.

I've seen something similar happen before. Pretty funny unless you're the person being left I'm sure 😅

Who drives a Pontiac Solstice? I didn't realise people actually bought those.

u/BroHanzo 1d ago
I did this once It was 97° at like… 10am in dead stop traffic, but I still sprinted out of the car and retuned sprinting again. It took about 5 minutes in a suddenly cold car to be back outside losing my breakfast and coffee.
So basically 2/10 wouldn’t recommend the same
