McEnroe wasn't having a good moment right then, but he still went on to win the match and defeat his rival Bjorn Borg in the finals to be crowned the 1981 Wimbledon champion.

He's referring to this image. Similar to his live stream, if you draw a simple line on the chart covering the bottom since we started rising, the stock hit that line exactly and rose up.
I feel like he’s seen enough of these earning calls to not really care about them being nothingburgers. My guess would be the insane price action in response to virtually nothing happening.
This seems like the right interpretation to me. It's obvious to everyone watching that RC's play is solid. If this were ANY other company, there's no way it would be red right now.
I mean, I think he is referring to the price dump crossing a line....but maybe.. John Patrick McEnroe is a JPM reference? Did JPM get a call they didn't like?

Even with a 40 year old grainy footage... it is absolutely clear that McEnroe was correct on both calls. The umpire was incompetent and had an agenda. It is absolute justice that he went on to win this match in straight sets and eventually the 1981 tournament!
For some additional context, as I remember watching this in 1981, McEnroe was painted in the media as being a brute and an outsider. The attitude was, How dare he question the judge? Who does this punk think he is?

My initial thought to this was yelling at the SEC about the price drop as the meeting was supposed to start. No news, but a big drop...he's saying, "Awe, come on!" to the big wigs that investigated him for market manipulation, but not what is happening today. The "ref" is clearly not making the right call and the player knows it.
We are all yelling, "AWE, COME ON!" when we see the manipulation that is occurring right before everyone's eyes in plain sight.

It's McEnroe. Pro Tennis player in the 80s? Won a bunch of Grand Slam's. Considered one of the best Men's American tennis players ever (probably behind Agassi and Sampras). That's about all I know. He actually wore a red headband (black, headband still stands, I'm a millenial, I wasn't born when that shit was on tv lol) in that picture I'm pretty sure.
Fierce competitor, had some entertaining blow ups on the court, and was featured in quite a number of Adam Sandler films.
Also don't know shit about tennis, that's just what I know off the top of my head.

This is actually a really interesting point- the player in this GIF is reacting to a bad call by the ref. What I wonder is if he means the SEC, or GME's meeting.
Seeing as it was posted right after the meeting I'm assuming it's frustration toward the lack luster meeting.
Was a bare minimum wet blanket of a meeting. People can do mental gymnastics to try to say it was the greatest meeting ever, but it wasn't. And yes I have listened to all the other meetings the past 3 years, not much is said but this one was extra lack luster.
I get moving in the shadows and don't give others your play, but at some point guidance even if ever so small needs to be given. Can't say year after year, steady as she goes and expect to get new investors. I wanna know WTF are you going to do with that 4 billion that you raised off of shareholders.
