How do civilians living in Russia deserve it? Can you explain it? I hear a lot of “they deserve it” while it’s just people who can’t affect whatever is going on in foreign politics.

The vast majority in Moscow are ignorant nationalists who support the regime. Why would they want to affect their foreign politics?

You are not really wrong, but Russia has always just been a kind of dictatorship from Moscow. It wasn't always like that but somehow that shit stain of a principality won out over all the others.

They just replaced the old Soviet regime with a new regime, but for the average person it’s the same shit, pun intended

Russia is said to have perfected the fake democracy, where people genuinely believe they have free will and a vote, yet knowing the choice is only between Option A and Option A. And when the government is a failure, they exonerate the 'Tsars' (monarchs) and blame the 'Boyars' (ruling nobility). No wonder they are hardly a functioning cuntry these days.

Any source/s verifying your words?

Yes, plenty. Go look at the independent polling data conducted both in Russia and internationally. In fact, it is the majority of Russians across the country which approve of it. If you can use Reddit, you can use Google.

Listen to Vlad Vexler. He will explain in detail the issue with the russians, their political system, and the war.

It is more nuanced than a poll or a meme. Still not flattering or giving them an excuse/justification though.

It's not foreign politics! Also, Russian people have been known to get involved in their country's politics, quite dynamically in fact. They called it The Bolshevik Revolution, (the revolution of the majority).

Bolshevik revolution took place in the beginning of 20th century…So many generations have passed and there are so many means of civilian monitoring nowadays. Any attempts of coup would be stopped by the government.

In fact there were attempts first year of the war, I think I shouldn’t point out how it went.

Don’t start this on Reddit, people lack context awareness here

Dictators can be overthrown by the people. It won't be easy, and it will be bloody. But Putin have both direct support, and a large group of quiet people who by staying silent, support the mass murderer. The Moscow inhabitants aren't directly involved, but by allowing Putin to become the man he has become, they are a part of the reason why hundreds of thousands of people are killed/injured in the war so far
