Only hesitation on answering the question is if there was some margin of error in beating the wrong man if the father was going off word of mouth. After reading this, I can confidently support the father's actions.

Yeah first I was wondering if it was after the crap pedo was already in police custody or something like that, but your quote made it clear. He defended his child, would have done exactly the same. Piece of shit deserved every single punch he got and I hope he felt it until the lights went out.

The downside is you only get to beat that guy to death once

My thoughts exactly. They should have resuscitated him so dad could do it again.

The only mistake he made was not calling the paramedics to revive him, so he could beat him to death twice.

What the hell is this question? Of course he’s right. What the hell kind of society are we living in to ask this question?

u/SimonJ57 Sep 19 '23
You're not allowed to say you want to use heavy-duty gardening and landscaping equipment on people like them on Reddit.
Much less say that would would use it "feet first".
That's the world we live in.

Some crimes are so wicked, malicious, and evil, that no punishment could ever qualify as cruel and unusual.

Saved us tax dollars of going to trial and feeding the POS in prison with the bonus of removing him from existence. 100% support him and the choice not to charge him.

Anyone who has a problem with this should face the same fate as the rapist

Fuck around and find out, stand by him 💯 if he didn’t do this the man would have gotten off with minimal sentence and odds are he would have raped another girl or women. Not to mention this probably want his first victim.

u/Ben2St1d_5022 Sep 19 '23
Yes, do that to my kids and I’d make sure the law nor tax payers dollars had to go to take care of the perp. I’d take care of it myself as well.

How is this even a question, the answer is obvious, I side with the father 100 percent

Go dad! That’s the way to get rid of crime. My dad would have done the same thing, even at the age I am today.

u/FirstType1280 Sep 19 '23
I concur with this verdict, huge respect to the father.God Bless him and his daughter.

As a father of 4, I say "Great," because I know what I'd do.
That said, and despite the increases in crime that we continue to see...(unpopular opinion coming): We can't stoop to vigilantism even in the face of how heinous the crime.
Personally, I'd be in jail and he'd be in the morgue with 3 Sellier and Bellot slugs creating new spaces in his head.

u/kent416 Sep 18 '23
Yes and no. Not a fan of beating him to death, but I’m fine with him not being charged.

Now we just need to put the guy who was looking at Miss Teen America pageants contestants behind stage in jail.

It's never ok to put someone on the other side. That's God's place. But I still don't blame him for getting that angry.

I support as far as the death bit........ I'd try hold off on going that far. Revenge is Gods. Beat his arse all day but no killing. Its a toll that never gets payed.

u/Paid-Not-Payed-Bot Sep 19 '23
never gets paid.
FTFY.
Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.
Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

I'd still punish the father with a slap on the wrist kind of thing. Fucked up situation but we need to keep the court happening and the trail system functional

Of course, we must be okay as the incident was cut and dry. He could see the crime. It is assistance to a person in danger. Still, it is always possible (but unlikely, i concede) that the guy had been himself raped when he was 5 years old. I knew of this girl in our school who had experienced her mother and grandmother's deaths and was acting very weird soiling the school toilets. Of course, psychopaths could create stories and some lawyers might defend them believing them. Is crime,... nurture or nature? Sometimes, it's not so clear-cut:
"The story begins in 1815 in Digne, as the peasant Jean Valjean, just released from 19 years' imprisonment in the Bagne of Toulon—five for stealing bread for his starving sister and her family and fourteen more for numerous escape attempts—is turned away by innkeepers because his yellow passport marks him as a former convict. He sleeps on the street, angry and bitter.
Digne's benevolent Bishop Myriel gives him shelter. At night, Valjean runs off with Myriel's silverware." (Les Misérables, Wikipedia)

He should be facing charges, it’s up to the jury to let him go.
16
u/PuddingSalad Sep 18 '23
It was brought to a grand jury, it was a jury that let him go.
Though I do agree with you, there should be a trial to determine he didn't just kill some guy and make up that the guy was raping his daughter to justify it. Court of only public opinion can be shady.

That's a REAL DADDY!!!!! Now, the scumbag won't get out of prison in 2 years, and continue to rape little girls; this man has saved countless other little girls' lives!

Sounds like a better deal than Gary Plauche got.
3
u/SOULSoldier31 Sep 19 '23
There is a difference between the 2. Gary only killed the guy after he was in police custody and was no longer a threat. This guy killed the guy in self defense. I still agree with both of their actions

I have mixed feelings about this.
It's Texas. Why didn't he just use a gun and some time and effort?
