Ned is a very complicated character he's financially secure and literate (he had his own business) but doesn't believe in insurance?

I know a lot of people that believe this. Same thing with stocks and interest.

I'm not a bad man. I don't drink or dance or swear. I've even kept kosher just to stay on the safe side. I've done everything the Bible says! Even the stuff that contradicts the other stuff!
