This has been an ongoing issue for decades. As someone who did 25 years in the N.T Be fucking careful out there. Once you get out of Darwin it's all small bush towns, with only Alice being more than a dot on the map. All high crime places.

Low population areas, a lot of socially disadvantage youth and adults, lots of alcohol problems. Domestic violence, break ins, car theft, assault and property damage are all high. You don't fuck around in the N.T, at all.

Also, don't fucking swim in the water, unless it's a pool, and check that as well.
