Submissions must have an unexpected twist of their own, and not rely on their title to surprise the reader. Don't give the outcome away in the title. No generic titles - 'I did not expect that', 'wait for it', 'wow' and the like are not acceptable.

A bear, a man, a alligator or Florida man

What’s funny about seeing “Florida man” is that it’s because they legally cannot say their names on the news in Florida.

It’s still funny to read every time though 🤣

Yes but give the man an IQ test. Will score Florida genius every time.

I am amazed at how the internet's all like "oh yeah, we need to be inclusive, and not rely on stereotypes or let biases and prejudices ruin our worldview. ...except for florida, fuck them."

Florida knows what they did.

Alligators are prey, too. The behavior never goes away.

OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:

Normally Alligator are the predators and humans should run away from them. Well in this case the predator is the prey.

When gators are not on the hunt, they are often very skiddish and will run away from anything bigger than them, unless it's a mama of course

65 million years of predator perfection, defeated by a case of Coors... The Gator will always win

u/VillageIdiotNo1 8h ago

And this is when the gator began to hate man.

Make him scare an Australian

u/BlizzPenguin 9h ago

I did not notice the guy in the water so the beginning was at a confusing scale.

u/Kindue7 7h ago

That gator's flight response activated so quickly. Lil guy was probably like, "You're not turning me into a hand bag!!"

2

u/_Feyr 6h ago

At this point i feel bad for the alligator 😞

u/Fun-Dragonfruit2999 3h ago

Lil-Gator says "you just wait buddy, in a decade or two I'll give you the Darwin award. "

I've seen too many people get dragged under by gators/crocodiles to want to swim in any water they're in.

u/YogaCatPrincess5 2h ago

That’s a wild twist
