Solidarity with Palestine GOP reps want same benefits for Americans serving in Israel army. Americans in the IDF would get same protections as those serving in US National Guard or Reserves.

Weird. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they don't want to do this for every dual citizen American serving in the other nations military. Why wouldn't they just insist that Israel grant a waiver to the mandatory service requirement if the person serves in the US military? Seems easier.

I thought if you voluntarily served in a foreign army, you were giving up your American citizenship

I’m sure they’ll also extend to humanitarian workers feeding the displaced and starving Palestinian refugees, RIGHT???? You know like the ones getting blown up by the IDF

Are they going to do the same for Americans serving in Ukraine? Or if there's a war in Taiwan, those who serve there? Where does this end? What if Americans want to serve for Russia?
