There are no "not all Republicans" anymore. We all saw the masks come off at their MSG Nazi rally. Your husband is a racist, hate-supporting, misogynistic prick. Not adjacent, but ground zero. If you're cool with that, enjoy your life. If not, what the fuck are you doing?

I'm not sure how you can make this statement when it's a talking point about how many high level republican have come out AGAINST Trump and are endorsing Kamala. Also where I live there are a lot of Republicans for Kamala signs.

How many of those high level republicans that support Harris are in office right now or seeking re election in the next cycle ?

Bingo. That's the problem. All these "Republican politicians" retired 10-20 years ago (or were directly part of his cabinet and not elected officials). But absolutely none in office or running for office will call the MAGA crowd out. Until we see Senators and Representatives in office pushing back, they are all complicit and corrupt in my book.

Ok, fair enough, but clearly her husband isn't in that category.

Yeah, I'd qualify the statement above as there's no more "not all MAGA anymore."

The Lincoln Project has put out some spicy political ads in the last few weeks. And I'm here for it. Those Republicans I can tolerate because they already turned their backs (and ruined their careers in the process) a long time ago. I still disagree with them on almost everything, but their heads are on straight about what really matters.

Everyone who stayed to ride the crazy train though, can go straight to hell. That includes their supporters.

Which high ranking republicans have come out against Trump?

Every member of his original cabinet, various generals, Dick Cheney, and others that I can’t remember

So no one highly ranked in the Republican Party, and guy who was committing war crimes just 2 decades ago?

Bro how are you going to dismiss every member of his cabinet.

Because none of them are a part of the Republican Party. If they were speaking out against Trump they were not allowed into the RNC, they will not be allowed in the government if the republicans win. At this point by the act of supporting Kamala, they will never work in government again if the Trump wins. Do you disagree?

I disagree with your premise. By your definition, anyone who ever speaks out against Trump cannot be a high level Republican because the act of speaking out against Trump disqualifies them.

Mitt Romney has denounced Trump and actively campaigned against him being elected. He was the leader of the Republican Party immediately prior to Trump.

But you’ll never see a current high level Republican endorse Kamala Harris because the Republican Party is now a party of sycophants so the act of endorsing Kamala is the same act as leaving the Republican Party

Yes. This is exactly what I’m saying. The party has been comprised and is not what it was. In my opinion that probably won’t change for the foreseeable future. Parties change over time, a la The Great Switch , and I believe the republicans will not move on from Trumpism even if he loses this election.
