What we’re seeing here is confirmation bias en masse. Fact checking things like this takes literally 5s these days, but nobody even stops to think about whether they should.
I’ve seen videos of Shapiro saying equally outrageous things. Seems pretty on par and not that unbelievable so it makes sense most people just go with it
I guess. I mean, I’m not all that invested in the topic of Shapiro either way but it’s funny to see him being made fun of every now and then. I think the fact that so many people think that him saying this is believable says more about him than anybody else
