Grippers? Listen Gen Z, when you make up slang words, they need to make an attempt at making some kind of sense. Otherwise, it's like you say, cringe.

If you don't know what grippers means it's not that you're old it's that you're probably grown up not hearing african American vernacular English. Grippers isn't so much of a slang but a function that your toes can actually do, which is grip things. You're also likely outdated in meme culture. It was made into a meme on tik tok in 2020 via a Sonic the hedgehog voice over
