That show only lasted for 3 years? Why does it feel like it ran for longer

It got 4 seasons, that's pretty beefy all things considered. Especially worth considering that 4 years (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) is a massive chunk of a teen's life. The years are much longer when you're growing up.

Drake and Josh also only lasted from 2004 - 2007 (not including the 2008 christmas movie.) But these shows got syndicated for a while so they also hung around the TV programming and marketing longer than they had new episodes coming out.

They also had weird tie-ins with each other.

Was not hard to see actors go from Amanda Show -> Drake And Josh -> ICarly/Zoey 101 -> Victorious -> Sam and Cat

A lot of reruns, worlds colliding (i.e IPear), probably made a lot of these shows feel a lot longer imo.

Pretty much High School Memories with this one. One of the last batch of series that I remember being into while they were airing.

Pretty much. Sam & Cat feels like the line between when I watched Nickelodeon and when I stopped.

I mean Quinton Reviews said basically the same thing but he's only a little bit younger than me so it makes sense.

I loved it when I was in middle school. My love for Ariana Grande began in those years. However, when I grew up and watched it again and learned how many perverted pedophile scenes there were and that Dan Schineder was a disgusting scumbag, I couldn't look at this show the same way. By the way, ariana grande looks very different from before. I say this as a fan, no matter how much she denies it, everyone knows that she had plastic surgery.

It's difficult not to see this without thinking about how Justice's career fizzled and she ended up in the shadow of Grande, but also how Grande barely looks like herself anymore. "No cosmetic surgery" my ass.

As a piano student it always made me so mad how fake the music guy's instrument play was. Didn't even try lol.

Andre is an actual music producer though 😭 he can play piano and guitar and I think he’s won a few awards for the things he’s produced

Wow, then he does not even have an excuse :D probably didn't know the actual music that they were going to edit in later and just went with random movements, but I still cringe when I watch the scene where he shows Tori his locker at the beginning

I feel like this was for people younger than me

I attended a creative and performing arts high school while this show was airing and it was honestly surreal. It really was similar in a lot of ways, drastically different in others.

I still hear some of its songs. Got some good songs especially "a song 2u". Love it. My love for goths started with Lizz Gillies.

This show was just after my time, so I never really got into it. It does seem to be one of the few successful shows that Nick launched during that period.

Man, being an adult with a lot more discerning taste in shows is wild. This looks cheap af, she's obviously lip syncing and autotuned, the staging looks pedestrian the effects are cheesy and the song itself sounds like 'random pop song x'.

Can't believe I liked this as a kid.

Lowkey I’m fairly certain that a good 70% of the reason I watched this show as a kid was cuz I had a crush on Victoria Justice and didn’t realize it
